There and Back Again: A Bule's Tale | This is the story of my travels to, within, and from Indonesia.
There and Back Again: A Bule's Tale. This is the story of my travels to, within, and from Indonesia. Chinese New Year in Singapore. February 23, 2015. Last Thursday was Chinese New Year–the year of the goat–so my school gave us a long weekend. I looked around and found an unbelievable promo flight ($60 round trip! And hopped over to Singapore. I was looking for a relaxing weekend during which I could explore the various cuisines of Asia (I had Vietnamese Pho … Continue reading →. Of convents and rabbits.

Day 3, still in Mansfield still tired. Day 3, still in Mansfield still tired. August 3, 2015. 3:45am Peppa pig watching. Really. Really. Tired. Ate my first stack of pancakes – apple cinnamon – was disappointed at new management of our favourite breakfast place. Didn’t take pictures of food – too busy scoffing it all. Went to a park, played with some water, some sand and climbed massive boulders. Day 2, Mansfield. Day 2, Mansfield. August 3, 2015. Never loose a kid again. 8220;can we keep it? No buggy or...

After decades in dog-eat-dog corporate America, a businessman throws out the white shirt and necktie for the T-shirt and open-toed sandals of Northeast Thailand, or "Isaan", where he morphs into an English teacher. There, he finds a culturally unique and rich environment- still largely undiscovered by the tourist crowd. Sunday, February 17, 2013. Keeping a Straight Face in the Land of Smiles. Yes, name your restaurant/inn after your impressive nickname! One of the joys of teaching in Thailand. Hope that ...

Tales from the IT Side | Understanding SharePoint and how it interacts with your organization
Tales from the IT Side. Understanding SharePoint and how it interacts with your organization. SharePoint Online Feature Set. Many times as I am working with a client I find it important to understand which version of SharePoint they purchased and what features are available. That way I can build out the environment with these features in mind. With all the recent changes to the SharePoint Online environment, it can be very difficult to keep up with these changes. There is a great website on MS TechNet.

Tales from Ivy Cottage's Blog. Thoughts and musings from a designer maker. In Bikes and Cars. Tags: Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy. Last weekend we had the privilege of an invited entry to Goodwood Revival. My son had a last minute offer of a ride in the Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy Race. This event is 3 days of pure vintage magic and we hadn’t been for 7 years so we expected some changes. Apparently Noel Edmonds was our neighbour but he never called round. Well it would be rude not to wouldn’t it? Watchin...

Wednesday, May 7, 2014. 3-in-1 Anti-aging, Brightening and Moisturising mask. I've been using this face mask for a long time! Very moisturising for the skin, smells good enough to be eaten. It has mild exfoliation properties. 1 tsp of roughly grinded rice powder. You can grind your own rice or purchase rice mask, e.g. Skin Food Rice Mask. 1/2 tsp of green tea powder. Tea leaves are not a good idea because it doesn't stick well to the face. 1 tsp of raw honey. I'm using Manuka honey. Monday, May 5, 2014.
