Tales of a Missionary: WHAT I HAVE LEARNED!

http://www.talesofamissionary.blogspot.com/2012/08/what-i-have-learned.html

Tales of a Missionary. The compilation of my experiences from when I got my mission call to the end of my mission, or however it goes. WHAT I HAVE LEARNED! I get why people "have" to have their cell phones. And many other things have been absorbed in the past two years. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Grandpa and Grandma B. Tales of a Missionary: FINAL TRANSFER

http://www.talesofamissionary.blogspot.com/2012/08/final-transfer.html

Tales of a Missionary. The compilation of my experiences from when I got my mission call to the end of my mission, or however it goes. JULY 30, 2012. We met a member the other day who obviously hated his mission. I suspect he was disobedient. But, while talking to him, it seemed sad that he would spend the time he did to teach of Christ and waste it by not loving those moments. I can't get enough, it seems, most of the time. I am proud of you, Kevin. I cant say it enough. We love you. Love, Mom and Dad.

Tales of a Missionary: MY LAST COMPANION IN THE MISSION!

http://www.talesofamissionary.blogspot.com/2012/08/my-last-companion-in-mission.html

Tales of a Missionary. The compilation of my experiences from when I got my mission call to the end of my mission, or however it goes. MY LAST COMPANION IN THE MISSION! This is Elder Henderson from Baltimore, and since I am training him, he is my 'son'. I have had three sons on my mission. The missionaries Elder Henderson trains will be my grandsons. I could have three grandsons. Awesome, huh? Sounds like a pyramid scheme to me. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Grandpa and Grandma B.

http://www.talesofamissionary.blogspot.com/2012/08/two-amazing-people.html

Tales of a Missionary. The compilation of my experiences from when I got my mission call to the end of my mission, or however it goes. So, this week we have gotten two amazing people, Danny and Michael. Danny is a 14 year old, who when he met us, he dropped everything and started reading the Book of Mormon. He got to Jacob and was confused, so he read it again. 1st Nephi to Jacob…TWICE! I am so thankful for what the Lord has blessed us with and how He has refined us in this process of trial.

The Williams' Family: March 2013

http://jonkristinandfamily.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html

Sunday, March 3, 2013. Because of a shirt. This started a string of thoughts in my head. I thought about how I think I may only have one long-sleeve shirt left that also has sleeves that meet my hands. Wouldn't it be nice if I could use this moment as an excuse for a guilt-free shopping trip? But if I were to go buy some new shirts for myself, a piece of me would also whisper, "You could. So though I try to remind myself of the great blessing that Jon still has his job. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Jon wo...

The Williams' Family: July 2013

http://jonkristinandfamily.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html

Wednesday, July 10, 2013. Blanchard Springs and the 4th. We have a tradition of going to Arkansas for the 4th of July. This year we decided to take a detour and visit the Blanchard Springs Caverns. Koen was looking forward to seeing the "underground caves" for weeks before we went. He was a little nervous about them once we got inside, but overall, he enjoyed it. I thought the best part was visiting the springs that pour out of the cave! Until her toes touched the water. Cousins enjoying the show. This i...

The Williams' Family: December 2012

http://jonkristinandfamily.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html

Tuesday, December 4, 2012. I love when people regularly update their blogs because I love to follow them, look at their fun pictures, read up on how they're doing. And now, I am much past due a timely update. Forgive me. I'm a mom of TWO! I have kid S. Now instead of one. And we're already a month into motherhood of multiple children. Wow. It still seems a little strange to me to be a mother of two. And now I have two kids (one of which now has a big bike! Is not our time limited? At least while they are...

The Williams' Family: This and That

http://jonkristinandfamily.blogspot.com/2013/07/this-and-that.html

Wednesday, July 10, 2013. A little bit of the this-and-that that we've been up to. Koen and I played "archaeologists" as we dug for a mysterious sea creature in a block of plaster that Koen got from the library's summer reading club. We love free doughnuts! Hadley can move all over the place when she sleeps. This is the first time we've found her with her leg through the crib. A family of bunnies live in our yard. We've seen the mama feeding five little fluff balls at once! Her mobility. I do too. Jon wo...

The Williams' Family: January 2013

http://jonkristinandfamily.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html

Sunday, January 13, 2013. Oh, how I feel that life has been crazy busy and fast ever since little, Miss Hadley arrived! I have enjoyed each bit of it, but I am seriously happy to welcome "normalcy" and regular, not-so-exciting day-to-day life again. I apologize to family for not showing nearly as many photos of our good times as you all deserve. but this is what happens when I fall behind. So here goes! Shortly after Hadley arrived, my mom came and visited! We had a GRAND time! Jon's in the shark. Ko...

The Williams' Family: May 2012

http://jonkristinandfamily.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html

Thursday, May 17, 2012. Jon was once going to school for finance and wasn't enjoying it. He later decided to go to helicopter school. Two weeks after starting helicopter training, the school went bankrupt, which the timing and happening of turned out to be a blessing. Jon pretending to fly his helicopter just after receiving his new helicopter gear. He then switched gears and began working towards a major in geography. And boy! It was the perfect thing for him! The Williams' Family: Church Studies

http://jonkristinandfamily.blogspot.com/p/church-studies.html

This page is devoted to my personal studies on gospel topics. I have found that there is a lot of good in writing the thoughts and feelings that come to mind when studying the gospel. It me to learn and quite often answers prayers and questions I have; giving my comfort and guidance. If you want to learn more about what I believe, visit: mormon.org. 4/10/11 - Delight in the Scriptures. Nephi said: “For my soul delighteth in the scriptures, and my heart pondereth them.”. The Williams' Family: August 2012

http://jonkristinandfamily.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html

Sunday, August 19, 2012. Rugs and Bar Stools. Last Friday, we decided to run some errands as a family and pick up a few things for the house. I was really looking forward to bringing home some rugs to add a few soft spots on our wood floors and maybe finding some bar stools for the kitchen counter. How ironic that earlier the very same morning, Jon and I were discussing how much longer we thought the car would last our family. We could use as much time as possible for some savings recovery! I want to men...

The Williams' Family: July 2012

http://jonkristinandfamily.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html

Thursday, July 12, 2012. We're making new friends here in St. Louis. Koen gets very excited to get together with others, but often informs us shortly before meeting up with them, that he will be shy. And he definitely is! Koen will not say a word and will look down at the ground for a good while. He may try to look up occasionally without actually moving his head, but if he has a blanket, he will hide underneath for invisible protection. Our first time riding the train at the zoo. We also got to visit th...

Tales of a Middle Child-Annie's life. Saturday, March 20, 2010. Happy, Sunshine Cupcakes. A few weeks ago, after weeks of gray, dreary weather, I needed a little pick me up. I decided to combine two of my favorite things in life: baking and themes! What did I come up with? Happy, Sunshine Cupcakes." They were amazing: an orange cake with homemade raspberry icing. Tales of a middle school boy. Friday, February 25, 2011. Hold still my heart. Let me dab at your wounds. Doesn't know he did this to you. To hope in right amounts. It's all or nothing. You surf or you drown. Tomorrow will be brighter than today. Though today is dimmer than yesterday. Over what you never had anyway. Didn't lose anything but a fantasy. Like layers of your hair. Tales of a Missionary Mom. How do I respond? Jesus said that we should turn the other cheek and pray for our enemies. It is so hard to do sometimes. Tales of a Misspelt Youth. Wednesday, 3 June 2015. Slaves - Are You Satisfied? Been waiting for this for fucking ages and I've listened to it about 10 times so far. Slaves. If you can go see them then do it. They're awesome live, expelling an energy that you don't get that often. Mixture of humour, simple riffs and poetry get you through the short, sharp sets. I had seen them 3 times before the album came out so was mega excited for it. My stand out track is Sockets, but I love all of them. So it's nearl...
