Thursday, May 28, 2015. I decided to sell two of my steers now instead of waiting until Fall. I would have liked to have kept them till Fall but I don't trust I will have enough grass. The other steer still has his one horn so I am keeping him until that horn falls off. The long hair must be from Buddy's tail. Sunday, August 30, 2015. I bought a used tractor last week. No more pulling hay bales on pallets! The tractor is a John Deere 5420. Early morning this past Saturday I drove it home. Friday, September 26, 2014. The cattle (especially Momma) love watermelon and apples. Well, not all cattle care for the watermelon rind but it seems as if most of the cattle love the apples. And some - like Beulah - really. Love apples. She is getting more and more caught up in eating apples and is pushing by the bull more rudely now to get to more apples. The bull doesn't mind as long as he has some apples to eat. I cut the rind up for the cattle. Happy cattle chewing their cud and enjoying the sun.

Tammy was in Minnesota attending a Tastefully Simple business convention. Krag Peak 7510', is the highest of a trio of peaks that sit relatively close to one another in the northern Whitefish Range of NW Montana. Saturday, May 30, 2015. Patti and Linda and I hiked to Upper Quartz Lake in the NW part of Glacier National Park. It seemed like I had been to this lake more than four times, but based on my photos this was the fourth time. The hike was 13 miles round trip.
