Saturday, April 3, 2010. Identifying similarities and differences has been a fun and beneficial experience to my students. They have learned about the different time periods at the same time enjoyed pointing out the things that they have found to be odd in each. If I can learn this trick in the classroom, I will be thrilled. Marzano needs to add a chapter on how to accomplish this trick as a teacher. Friday, February 26, 2010. With one of the classes this should be fairly simple for me based on the size of the class. The other class will prove more difficult since the class is rather large. My goal is to find a way to successfully review and return all work with helpful feedback in a timely manner to all of the classes. Monday, April 26, 2010. Sorry about the delay, I have had internet issues. Here is last week’s post. The best groups in this experience were the groups that were heterogeneous. Those groups were able to assist each other in the work and the students were spending more time working with group members than talking or being off task.
