Upcoming Surgery *Click Here*. It’s hard to believe that tomorrow morning I will have my second stage reconstruction surgery at Sanford in Sioux Falls. I’ve enjoyed feeling like myself again and teaching so much that it’s difficult to come to terms with another temporary ‘setback.’ I realize that this ‘setback’ has me one step closer to my full recovery, and for that I am truly thankful! Brian and I stopped at Sam’s Club and bought a bunch of different flavors of mini cupcakes for all the staff at the Avera Cancer Institute. Round 2 Chemotherapy #3 *Click Here*. Round 2 Chemotherapy #3. As I sit here and update my journal, I can’t believe how far I’ve come. Tomorrow morning I will complete my AC chemotherapy! I will be able to cross off 16 chemotherapy treatments, 12 of Taxol/Hercetpin and 4 of AC. It’s such an AMAZING feeling and accomplishment. Plus, I can’t wait to see Braedin in his little tux as the ring bearer. He’s so excited…and I taught him the chicken dance! It’s just too cute! Love you all,. Your privacy is SAFE.
