Thursday, January 17, 2013. Finley will be 3 months this Monday! Where has the time gone? We had another lactation appointment the other day and I saw 2 babies, both about 7 pounds, and I swore my baby was never that tiny.but she was! Most nights she sleeps 5-6 hour stretches, and sometimes even longer! First family shower that wiped her out! Look at how much bigger she is in the top bath picture compared to the bottom. Mommy's milk does a body good! She loves loves loves bath time! And hates getting out!

Monday, May 16, 2011. Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation leans on the doorbell. Apparently blogging is even harder to keep up with than journal writing - at least for me. i have been itching to write in my journal for the last couple of months, but i dread the 2 hours it'll take me to catch up on everything. so where do i start? First off, one week from today ryan will officially be an educated man. that's right, he's graduating! Some other great news, i finally got in to nursing school!

Friday, June 21, 2013. Just your average business owner and nursing student raising a restless 8 month old! Let's just say a lot has happened since the last time I posted. First of all, Ryan has been busy as ever as a new business owner and learning all the ins and outs of running a company. He is now the boss, but till this week, he hadn't hired anyone to replace what he was previously doing so he's been doing like 3 jobs! Speaking of our sweet baby girl, she is 8 months old today! Kaitlyn and her baby.

Wednesday, February 27, 2013. This sweet girl has been a totally different baby the last month or so. She used to be pretty fussy and cried most of the time she was awake. Boy has that changed! Not only does she rarely cry now, but she's also hitting so many milestones. She loves to talk, laugh, jump in the old-school jumper, swim and suck on her hands (literally all day long). I could listen to her giggle all day. Looks like she'll be a fan of the water just like her parents. Playing with Grandma Brown.

Sunday, August 26, 2012. Is summer really over? I can't believe it's the end of August! What happened to spending all summer napping, catching up on books, and taking a babymoon with my Ry Ry? I only read 1 book this summer, and probably only took 2 naps, and never had time (or money) for a babymoon! Now I'm back in school, which means I'll never get the chance to do any of those things again.ever! My wonderful best friend Denene got married! She is now Mrs. Trevor Brunner! So happy for the newlyweds!

How did that happen. He was just this sweet baby that looked at you with his deep blue eyes and he would get you do anything. Now when I look into his eyes I still fall in love, but I also hear his mischievous giggle and wonder what he up to now! Schwartz and our favorite little book store Bank Street Bookstore. Nana and...

Tootling along: Monticello
http://singletonsaga.blogspot.com/2010/07/monticello.html
Thursday, July 8, 2010. The day following our adventure to Mount Vernon we decided to try one more historical landmark. This time we travel 2 hours from our gracious host's home to Monticello, the home of Thomas Jefferson our 3rd President. Monticello was build on a hill and means beautiful hill. Touring Monticello had a very different feeling than Mount Vernon. While Mount Vernon was spread wide, Monticello climbs to the sky. They also had wooden blocks that we all enjoyed building our own Monticello.
