Thursday, July 30, 2015. I’ve gone through drawers, closets, cabinets and the basement. And I held a garage sale. And took the rest that didn’t sell to Goodwill. And I got rid of a ton of stuff. If I didn’t love it, it was gone. And felt pretty good about myself. And then a Saturday hit and we were traveling up to Eugene for a week of family reunion-ing and and then on to Washington for some more family time and camping. Our car was appropriately packed. We even borrowed a shell for the top of the car.

Friday, August 22, 2014. Tomato Soup And Fresh Peach Pie. This tomato soup came from Bryce’s cousin’s wife’s mom. I never remember the exact quantities when I’m at the grocery store, so mine isn’t always ‘by the book’. 1/2 bushel tomatoes (30 little). Cook for 1 hour, then strain. In a smaller, separate pan combine:. Mix together then add 2 C soup. Pour into pot of soup with 1/4 C salt and 1 C sugar. Return to boiling, and cook till slightly thickened. If canning, process for 10 minutes in water bath.

Sunday, July 20, 2014. It has been a busy summer. We have enjoyed all the time we have been able to spend with family. We had a good time with Phin for his birthday and loved swimming with cousins. Philip had some opportunities to sing the national anthem at a few events. This is at a baseball game in Ogden. He has a small group from the air force who sing with him. Sunday, February 9, 2014. We went swimming for the first time with Eliza. Isabelle and Ben stayed overnight and went swimming with us as well. Lots of fun splashing around. Her cute swim suit was one of the first things I bought for her when I was pregnant. We also were able to go to the zoo for free this month. Philip got off work early and met there.
