It is easy for people to have compassion for those who have been in a place of abuse, for orphans, for people who have come through horrific circumstances. But it is not so easy to forgive and love those who are the abuser, who are the oppressors, who are mean and detestable. God loves them, so shouldn't I? Are not the tax collectors doing that?
