A Day in the Life. Thursday, August 21, 2008. Happy Birthday to Brion. Because it is my husband's 34th birthday today, I just wanted to say a few things I like about him. I think we are blessed to have Brion. He lets me be imperfect. He dances with our kids to rock-n-roll. He appreciates art - all kinds of art, and he'll go with me to artsy-kind of things. He's dependable. He has a good work ethic.too good at times! He moved back to Amarillo because he thought I wanted to, and he LOVES Austin! He was the...

Women of Faith OKC November 14th-15th. A rose by any other name. Turning over a new leaf. Sunday, November 30, 2008. When putting up the Christmas decor I usually don't have much "useful" help. I do have helpers but they get distracted too easy. This year I was worse than them. My mission was to put up the tree. If I got nothing else done I wanted the tree up. It didn't go as planned and I was the problem. Our day went pretty much like this. It started at 8:00:. 1 Pancake breakfast yummy. 13 Look over on...

It's the little things...: Snow Day
http://theraefs.blogspot.com/2011/02/snow-day.html
It's the little things. Thursday, February 10, 2011. The girls were so excited to get out in all that snow yesterday! I'm not sure how many inches we got here in Amarillo, but we had a six foot snow drift outside our bedroom window. The sun was shining and there was no wind. Needless to say, we had a lot of fun outside. We had a snow ball fight, made snow angels, and attempted to build a snow man, but the snow was too soft. 1 lg bowl full of snow. And we crushed up butterfingers and put it in ours.
