Thursday, July 7, 2011. For Taurean's birthday I planned a surprise weekend getaway for us and some friends to Red River Gorge. Taurean had no idea and was really surprised! We found a nice cabin to stay in and had a good time hiking, hot tubbing, eating, killing bugs and relaxing. Did I mention the bugs? Here is a giant spider that greeted us upon arrival. Needless to say, we stayed out of the basement the entire weekend. Me waving like an idiot. Here is the actual bridge. You can walk on top of it!

Saturday, September 17, 2011. Two weeks ago Taurean and I headed south to Mississippi for the BYU vs Ole Miss football game. We had a great time and it wasn't too bad of a drive, only 7 hours. Apparently Ole Miss is in a tiny town in Mississippi. I thought it would have been a bigger town, seeing as it's a pretty famous college. It's in the middle of nowhere and the nearest Target is more than 100 miles away. If that doesn't show how isolated it is, I don't know what will. We would definitely do it again!

Sunday, August 26, 2012. State Fairs and Pianos. Tuesday night Taurean and I went to the State Fair with some friends. We had a great time and saw some awesome local folk. Here is Taurean eating a deep fried Snickers. I think it shaved 3 years off his life. And here is Taurean enjoying a deep fried Oreo. There go another 3 years. Yesterday I decided to tackle the project that has been on my list since May. I painted the piano while Taurean repainted our apartment. It was quite the productive day!

Saturday, April 28, 2012. I absolutely LOVE this show! Taurean and I watched the first two seasons in one week and can't wait for season 3. If you haven't already watched it, you should. Tuesday, August 23, 2011. I can't believe it but it's been 3 years! Happy Anniversary Taurean, it's been the best three years of my. Saturday, August 20, 2011. It started off with a visit from Taurean's parents, followed by a visit from my mom and sister who were here while I had surgery to clear up a little endometriosis, and it ended with a last minute getaway to Disney World for the weekend! Friday, January 6, 2012. Merry Christmas from Disneyland! Taurean and I went home for a record long trip of 21 days! It was great to see family and friends. Taurean's parents decided to drive us to Disneyland the week before Christmas! The Holiday decorations were spectacular! We spent 4 days in the parks, and the weather was perfect.
