diaries of a wannabe doctor: Two years
http://diariesofawannabedoctor.blogspot.com/2011/09/two-years.html
Diaries of a wannabe doctor. The journey from no coat to white coat. We've lived on Harrison St. in Wilmington, with the Landon's in Hockessin, on the Dawn Treader in the Bahamas and now in Annapolis, MD. We've both attempted once to get into medical programs and if at first you don't succeed, try. try. again. We've plugged ourselves into Annapolis attending church at Revolution and hope to build more of a community there. We've taken up rock climbing as a couple. October 2, 2011 at 10:02 AM. Diaries of a wannabe doctor. The journey from no coat to white coat. Thoughts on the Eve of Departure. Will we return to Haiti? Yes, for sure. It is a land pregnant with possibility and potential and I believe that in time the DNA of the NGO world will realize that the true goal of a servant is to become less so that those you serve may become more. Just the Five of Us: Allenby Road Trip - Part Two - Ohio
http://theateamfour.blogspot.com/2014/08/allenby-road-trip-part-two-ohio.html
Sunday, August 24, 2014. Allenby Road Trip - Part Two - Ohio. After our amazing time in Pittsburgh. It was a really special visit that I'll remember for a long time. So great to spend time together and definitely made me miss my Dad like crazy. At 90 years old Grampy was kicking around the soccer ball with the boys! After a brief stop at Carroll High School we hit the road for Columbus where we stopped at Uncle Greg's house for a short visit and swim in his pool on our way to Cleveland! After another str...

Diaries of a wannabe doctor. The journey from no coat to white coat. For all those who read my last confession:. I am thrilled to let you all know that my second calculus test went swimmingly. While I won't divulge my exact numerical score, it is the kind of grade that keeps a smile on your face all day. A big thanks to God and all the encouragement to press on from friends and family. This was a wonderful relief and a great inspiration to continue working hard. I believe this potentially destructive obs...

Living my 59th year – fully, fearlessly, joyfully, abundantly……truly. Did we have Easter? April 11, 2013 in Tenthouse. 8220;You know,” my husband began solemnly, “This is Easter weekend and tomorrow is Good Friday”. “No, it’s not,” I answered without surprise or sarcasm…just a tad humorously. “Easter was last weekend. Remember all the cool stuff we did with the grandchildren? Remember the awesome service in the chapel? Now I have a confession to make – Mark and I don’t like playing with child...So, yes, ...

http://joyjoyinthejourney.blogspot.com/2011/10/my-life-in-bullets.html
Joy, Joy in the Journey. Tuesday, October 4, 2011. My Life in Bullets. Took Married Daughter and Loyal Son-in-Law to eat peppered bacon and gingerbread pancakes on the way to the airport. They were returning to their new home (in already frosty Wisconsin) after a quick trip home for a beloved grandfather's funeral. Back on the school front, my favorite "principal's office visit" yet: Kindergartner who filled his pockets with rocks at recess and then asked to go to the bathroom. On his little field tr...

Joy, Joy in the Journey: September 2011
http://joyjoyinthejourney.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Joy, Joy in the Journey. Saturday, September 24, 2011. I've long thought one question I'd ask God when I make it to heaven would be, "What was up with my hair and feet on earth? I've posted often about my hair, which, during humid Texas weather, had its own zip code. And the feet? How many grown women do you know that wear the same size as her elementary students? The Chi hot iron and bob have made my hair manageable and (could it be? Stylish almost every day. And the feet? K and c's mom. If there is eve...
