Mark, Dusty, and Allie. Saturday, August 8, 2009. School started yesterday and summer is over. Why does it seem like it really never began? Mark is doing better. His speech therapist released him last week and said that he had made improvements in memory and the other things he was having trouble with. We are still considering some more testing to determine if we can have more therapy and get more results. We are almost 4 months seizure free. Thank the Lord! August 11, 2009 at 3:47 PM.

Mark, Dusty, and Allie. Tuesday, March 24, 2009. Pics that is. We all ended up going to Orlando and had a pretty good time. I will put up pics later for you to see. I may even try a slide show thing. Wednesday, March 18, 2009. I know I continue to ask, but PLEASE keep praying for us. This week has been VERY trying and hard on all of us. I know God has a plan, I just have to continue to remind myself of this. Will try to update tomorrow when we get home because I can't post from work. 2 hour nap of the day.

Dan, Lauren, and Hicks. Wednesday, July 8, 2009. The Name and Nursery! We have decided on a name. We will call her. Mary Maddox is my great grandmother's. Name and Maddox is my mom's maiden name. This was Dan's favorite name that we were contemplating. That made it easier for me because I liked all the names we were talking about the same. Mark, Dusty, and Allie. Friday, June 19, 2009. Ok here. Mark and Allie's tests were both fine. We have been busy running here and there. Mark and I made the trip to B'ham Tuesday only to find out that it was a wasted trip-nothing new. Has it been HOT or what? The past two nights we have been to watch my niece play ball. What fun! Dan, Lauren, and Hicks. Friday, July 4, 2008. Happy Fourth of July! I hope everyone is having a great Fourth of July. We are going to celebrate it at the Country Club with an Aaron Tippin concert and a firework show. Dan is playing in a golf tournament today and tomorrow there and the festivities will be each night. I think it will be fun! I have some recent pictures of things that I thought you might enjoy. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy yours! Hicks celebrates the Fourth with all of his toys.

Thursday, June 4, 2009. 1/2 lb. bacon slices (10-12 slices). 1 9 inch unbaked pie shell. 1 1/2 cup grated imported swiss cheese. 1 Tablespoon of bacon fat. 1 small onoin; minced. 1 cup heavy cream. 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper. Dash of cayenne pepper. 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard. We had the quiche with fresh fruit and a slice of bananna bread that I also made yesterday. Here is the recipe for that. Again this is my mom's recipe and it is SO YUMMY! 1 stick butter, softened.
