The Rogers Review: Halloween.. Two Little Mermaids
http://charlotterogersreview.blogspot.com/2009/11/halloween-two-little-mermaids.html
Sunday, November 8, 2009. Halloween. Two Little Mermaids. There was a little hiccup in our plans on Halloween night, but we made the best of it.the show must go on! We went over to the Slacks house so that Caroline and Ali could tranform into two little Ariels together. Chrissie and I later questioned our idea to put make up on three year olds. Caroline was not wanting to be still, so the purple eyeshadow I was attempting to put on almost made her look like she had a black eye. not good! I am all caught ...

The Rogers Review: Carving pumpkins.. and roasting marshmallows
http://charlotterogersreview.blogspot.com/2009/11/carving-pumpkins-and-roasting.html
Friday, November 6, 2009. Carving pumpkins. and roasting marshmallows. The last few days of our trip to Little Rock included several "fall like" activities. Of course pumpkin carving was one of them. Caroline wanted to draw the face on the pumpkin herself and actually it was pretty good! Somehow toward the end of a visit you are trying to cram everything in at once and never quite get it all in. Oh well, she had the experience of it and tends to lose interest when her part in the project is done. We had ...

The Rogers Review: Little Explorer
http://charlotterogersreview.blogspot.com/2009/11/little-explorer.html
Friday, November 6, 2009. While in Little Rock, Caroline spent plenty of time cuddling with Poppy and her favorite dog, Cody. She loved to snuggle with Poppy and Cody while watching a show. Looking at all the "food". I don't know what to think about all this! In front of the building. Caroline was getting a little tired. Waiting on the trolley with Poppy. Looking at downtown Little Rock. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Don't pull those sea oats! Halloween. Two Little Mermaids. Party Time at Preschool!

The Rogers Review: July 2010

Monday, July 12, 2010. The Rogers are back! We're making a come back and giving blogging a second try! I was just thinking about all the milestones Caroline has had recently and was also realizing how fast all this is going. I was feeling regretful for not documenting all these special moments. Before I know it, Caroline will be in kindergarten (sniff, sniff! This is gonna be a long post as I play catch up, but I will try to let the pictures tell most of the story. We had Caroline's kiddie party at the Y...

The Rogers Review: September 2009
http://charlotterogersreview.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 25, 2009. Caroline has been coming home singing songs and saying chants she has learned at preschool. It is so sweet to hear her sing the prayer that they sing before lunch each day. That has become a ritual at our house before dinner too. She brought home a monkey and crocodile on sticks and said this rhyme:. One little monkey, playing in a tree. Teasing Mr. Crocodile, you can't catch me, can't catch me! Along came Mr. Crocodile, quiet as he could be. Right out of that tree. Over so th...

The Rogers Review: December 2008
http://charlotterogersreview.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 12, 2008. Our neighborhood has a "Sunday with Santa" event at the recreation club and you can take your child's picture with Santa. Last year, Caroline was terrified and would not sit on his lap. The only pictures we had were of her screaming. Hanging on for dear life. I'm not so sure about this guy! I guess it can't hurt to tell him what I want for Christmas! We leave on Tuesday for Little Rock, where Ben will join us later. Then, we will head on to Polk County for a Tennessee Chris...

The Rogers Review: Party Time at Preschool!
http://charlotterogersreview.blogspot.com/2009/11/party-time-at-preschool.html
Saturday, November 7, 2009. Party Time at Preschool! As a room mom, I got to help out in Caroline's class with the Halloween party. Hitting a pinata was on the agenda, and it was so funny to see the difference in the way the boys tackled it versus the girls. Of course, the boys were aggressive when they hit the pinata and the girls took a more cautious approach. So fun to see! Each child got to take a turn and the other kids counted to ten. The class lined up listening to the directions. E is for Eva.

Thursday, May 28, 2009. Bye, Bye Paci. Hello Build a Bear! We took the plunge or should I say we pulled the plug? We took Caroline's paci away on Saturday afternoon, and it has been one long week! We had a wonderful experience at Build a Bear, as you can see from the pictures. However, Caroline didn't choose a bear, or even a bunny. Instead, we walked out of there with a pink unicorn, which she named "Twinkle". Unique choice, but she loves her! Which one should I choose? Time to stuff the unicorn! All in...

The Rogers Review: August 2009
http://charlotterogersreview.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 16, 2009. Caroline's latest obsession is with Ariel, the mermaid. She loves anything and everything Ariel. Grandy and Poppy bought her an Ariel costume while we were in Little Rock and Caroline had a blast dressing up and dancing. We played some music from Little Mermaid- Under the Sea and Part of That World- and had a great time dancing around! She knows most of the words to Part of Your World. The necklace even has Ariel's singing voice when you push on it. Wednesday, August 5, 2009.
