Friday, November 6, 2009. We were so excited for Halloween this year because Lydia was going to be here for the weekend. We've been planning on having her out here for Halloween since June. One of Lydia's birthday presents this year was a ticket to see the musical " Wicked. She has been wanting to see this show for ages. My parents decided to come out as well for the show and Halloween. Our tickets were for the 2:00 matinee on Halloween. Lydia LOVED the show! The Family the Rides Together, Stays Together.

Wednesday, February 18, 2009. We even braved a movie with both girls. We took them to see Coraline. Kaitlyn only started getting fussy at the very end. Lydia had read the book and was excited to see the movie. It was cute. . We also played a few games of Life. Santa gets the family a game every Christmas, this last Christmas it was the electronic game of life. We had all played the old version before but this one had a fun twist. Saturday, April 18, 2009. Disheartened, I pulled out the snow shovel for some old school snow removal. I cleared a bit more snow from the driveway when BAM! 160;The handle of my snow shovel snapped. Apparently the snow gods do not want my driveway cleared today. Needless to say I have officially given up and will wait for the snow to melt. It's supposed to be 70 degrees on Monday. Tuesday, December 8, 2009. We went to Utah this year for Thanksgiving. It was a long drive but worth it. We had a great time. We got to have Lydia with us this year. Kaitlyn loved seeing her. The two always get along so well. Kaitlyn had fun with her cousins too. On Thanksgiving we went over to Jared's sister, Angela's house. We all had an ugly Christmas sweater contest. It was fun, our brother in law, Chip, won the prize fruitcake. Here is the picture of our family. They were well over due. H.

May 30, 2009. So, last night I came home from work and found Steve watching "Finding Nemo" and I hear a little voice saying. Hi Gammie.hi Gammie.". Apparently Steve had agreed to watch Regan while Angela took Madi and Jaxson to a late matinee. I had gone to Costco on my lunch and began putting items away downstairs in the storage room.
