The Evers Family: Newsflash! I am not a country gal!
http://eversfamilyscoop.blogspot.com/2009/08/newsflash-i-am-not-country-gal.html
Thursday, August 27, 2009. I am not a country gal! Ok, besides that, yeah, I think I'll stick with the city. Here are a few things that made me say, um, the country isn't for me. 5 Mitch's mom picked us up from the airport with this terrible rash all over her legs. It was poison ivy. She said she got it from going in the ditch. I thought to myself, oh, I bet the ditch is far away, I don't need to worry. No, the ditch was right in front of their house. Did you know you have to run with protection? Holy cr...

The Evers Family: Shhhhh.....
http://eversfamilyscoop.blogspot.com/2010/02/shhhhh.html
Sunday, February 21, 2010. I really don't want to go private. Is that bad? My grandparents just got internet so they could read my blog and if my mom can't even figure out how to log in.well, you know. So, I know we will be going private soon, but I will probably wait until I get the lecture again from Mitch. He rarely reads the blog anyway, so I'm not worried. While I'm blogging I better update on the thing I talk about more than anything: Potty training. Posted by The Evers Family. I dont know whether ...

The Evers Family: My labor story
http://eversfamilyscoop.blogspot.com/2013/05/my-labor-story.html
Sunday, May 26, 2013. Our last picture as a family of five. I was off to make it a family of 6! I love hearing people's birth stories. They are always all so different. Even mine. Each and every kid is different. Here is mine with Wilson:. So, I went to sleep and woke up the next morning to go into the hospital for my induction. Wilson came out healthy and screaming (always such a relief to hear the scream). I immediately fell in love. I think he likes it. Posted by The Evers Family. The Butter Knife Gang.

When I Grow Up...: November 2013
http://elizabeth-whenigrowup.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
It's still November so this isn't THAT late. Ok, maybe it is. Here we have Sofia (totally store bought, thanks mom! Here's King Roland with the kids. I made simple satin sashes with a button and fabric paint letters and sewed up a couple of blingy felt crowns. And the haul. After Lily dumped out her pumpkin bucket (thanks Susan! 1) The Art of Weekending. She's doing so great! I found some random things in her bed when I changed the sheets, but she had been playing in there earlier so I didn't think much ...

When I Grow Up...: Gym Rat
http://elizabeth-whenigrowup.blogspot.com/2014/01/gym-rat.html
1) I am a runner. That means I run outside, rain, shine, snow, cold, whatever. The gym is for when you're sick or injured, or for lifting. And that lifting has to be serious free-weights, not little two-pound dumbbells and certainly not machines. 2) Working out with your kids is easy and fun! Pop in a video, do some yoga together, put them in the stroller for a jog! It's so great for them to see you being healthy! 3) I'm an athlete. That means you have to compete. The Evers Family: Spring Break - Wahoo....not really
http://eversfamilyscoop.blogspot.com/2013/06/spring-break-wahoonot-really.html
Sunday, June 23, 2013. Spring Break - Wahoo.not really. March 25-March 30 2013. The boys had Spring Break the whole week right after I had Wilson. So, needless to say, it wasn't all that cool. However, we did try. My dad took them swimming, I took them to the park, Mitch took them to Brighton to play baseball, they went to a Jazz game, and more. Not too bad I thought. Pictures of the week were few and far between. Here are a couple from the park I took them to. Posted by The Evers Family. Papa playing "D...

When I Grow Up...: December 2012
http://elizabeth-whenigrowup.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Resolution Check-In 11: Non-Stress. 1) Exercise for 20 minutes per day. 2) Send one letter per week. Another fail. I can't think of a single letter I sent this month. 3) Bake and decorate one thing outside of work per month. 4) Stop comparing myself to other moms. After 4 days of doing everything I can only another half a centimeter? I was crushed. That's not even really enough to have your membranes truly swept. She did what she could and I made another appointment for Monday. This baby boy was going to...

When I Grow Up...: November 2012
http://elizabeth-whenigrowup.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Instant holiday decor. Lily kept requesting to turn of the lights so she could look at them and say "Oooh! There are lots of Christmas crafts in the works, most as presents for other people so that post will come later. (We also have back-up present ideas in case the crafting doesn't happen with the arrival of the new one.) Lily is soooo excited about Christmas. Every morning she wakes up and sees the tree all lit up she makes this huge surprised face, covers her mouth, and gasps "So pe-ah! She usually s...
