Old Age is a Bitch. Saturday, 28 February 2009. The veg box delivery ran out of potatoes yesterday, so I had to place an order with T* *o for delivery today between 3 and 5pm (the earliest vacant slots.). 530 I phoned as the order had not arrived. Soft words "the order is on its way". 6pm I phoned again. Same thing. 630 Eventually the store called me back. The order had been left with a neighbour. At last I collected it and I am now fed and watered. Stocked on a regular basis. Labels: chest of drawers.

Wednesday, 14 May 2008. Mycroft Holmes was Sherlock Holmes' cleverer brother. I have decided to use the euphemism 'Medical Mycroft' so that I can focus on the more philosophical parts of blogging, so the Jobbing Doctor can do all the ranty, whingeing, political type stuff. I am Mycroft, and I slightly despise the down-market approach of my younger brother 'Medical Sherlock' or The Jobbing Doctor. I will be much more educational, and reflective.
