Mom, Dad, Lads and Little Lady: October 2009
http://onpoppylane.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Mom, Dad, Lads and Little Lady. Sunday, October 25, 2009. The work is started! The kids were very excited about watching a "digger" dig a hole in the ground. Mitchell loved playing around and on the dirt. Caleb was excited to throw rocks into the hole. He didn't get to, but he tried. We had to hold him back a few times from jumping in! Actually they were just posing, but sometimes it's hard to sit still when you are two. Next, we had our foundation poured! Moving right a long! Caleb loved the corn pit.

Grandma's Place: October 2010

Monday, October 4, 2010. The other big thing is to approach the every day scenes from different angles. Looking down at something, lying down and looking up at it, how does it look at different times of day? I have found that there is beauty in everything, even the lacy lines in a grasshopper's wings, or the hairy legs of a spider. The white appeared to be washed out so I added a little texture to the picture and this was the result:. Shouldn't we look for the good in those who may be different from us?

Mom, Dad, Lads and Little Lady. Sunday, September 28, 2008. She'll never know. . . Becca is sound asleep in the chair and I know she wanted to update the blog today. I thought I'd take a stab at it for once. I know that the best part of a blog is the pictures, but I might find a good story to talk about by the time I've posted everything. . . The bottom of the wall is the chalkboard paint. Mitchell loves to draw on the wall and is starting to write notes with our help. Sunday, September 7, 2008. 3 Helpin...

Grandma's Place: June 2010
http://grandmasplace-grandmabish.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 6, 2010. I came home Thursday afternoon, after 9 days in the hospital. It feels so good to be home again, and I am looking forward to better health in the future. I already see some benefits from having the “Sigmoid Collectomy”. You can bet that I will be watching my diet and taking better care of myself in the future. Another blessing that came from this experience is several “one on one” moments with some of my children, as we shared thoughts and sometimes, tears. I have ne...I am feeling ...

Saturday, February 20, 2010. More Holiness Give Me. Many of the women who participated in the experiment, said they no longer thought of being holy as something impossible to do. I reccommend it to everyone. I know that pondering on the right things, and applying the scriptures to our lives, can change us, and our relationships.especially our relationship with the Lord.
