Saturday, July 23, 2011. My first knitted JUMPER! Right back to the blogging. Its been a while - and knitting unfortunately has taken a back burner to my house remodel. But I have a little more time on my hands now, so I've picked up the needles and decided I want to knit my first ever jumper! I've been inspired by all these slouchy, 80's style sweaters I've seen around recently, and recalled my mum used to wear such sweaters back in the 80's! I love the V back the most! Monday, October 31, 2011. Sorry for the absence around here lately. Dan and I have been busy moving - we're now living with his friend, Kyle, in a town home that's only about 2 miles from Dan's parents' house. While much easier than the cross-country moves we're accustomed to, this move almost seemed more laborious as we made lots of little trips back and forth. Thursday, June 14, 2012. Puppy love: broken record. If you were a fly on my wall for the past few weeks, you might think there's a broken record around here. I've been saying a lot of, "Good pee! Immediately followed by, "No bite! Sometimes I wonder if I'll forget how to say anything else at all. Of course, Oliver is so cute and curious that it's hard to really care what my vocabulary becomes. I find myself growling and barking and mimicking dog sounds. I'm learning to speak dog.
