The Smiths: Thanksgiving in Boise
http://benerinsmith.blogspot.com/2009/01/long-overdue-update.html
A place to grow, live, and learn. Friday, January 30, 2009. Jonathan wouldn't hold still for the camera so we mostly just have pictures of Maddy. It was nice to relax and enjoy ourselves. Maddy shares her brother's love of wearing hats, especially grown up hats. Shuka is reluctantly befriended by Madeline. She would follow that dog everywhere, giving her hugs and petting her. Shuka endured it admirably. Maddy was helping her grandpa get dolls out of the box and decided it was pretty fun to play in.

The Waite Update: The Prodigal Blogger
http://thewaiteupdate.blogspot.com/2010/03/prodigal-blogger.html
Friday, March 19, 2010. Well, I hope some of you will welcome me back into the blogging world even though I've been astray for so long. I can't guarantee I'll be posting as often as I'd like, but I'll certainly try to not let another 15 months go by between posts (I'm pathetic, I know)! Of course the box is always much more fun than the toy, right? Some of my favorite moments throughout the day are watching my little guys playing together. I've been very impressed at what a good big brother Bryce is ...

The Waite Update: Home Birth
http://thewaiteupdate.blogspot.com/2008/11/home-birth.html
Tuesday, November 25, 2008. As my due date approaches, we're getting prepared for our first home birth experience. We had to purchase a birth kit with all sorts of goodies in it (pictured below), and several other supplies. It's definitely a different experience preparing for a home birth rather than a hospital birth. When I tell people I'm having a home birth, 90% of the time their response is "you're so brave! And #2: "I can't believe you're going to risk your life and the life of your baby like that!

this is the first day of my life: May 2014
http://ronivagabondista.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
This is the first day of my life. Tuesday, May 13, 2014. This post could just as easily be titled: "Roni, This Is. This is what my face looks like these days. Although, sometimes I close my mouth. It was a parenthesis. Sometimes I feel the same way about my time in New York City. Like I am living in a new parenthesis. I elaborated on this sentiment with my friend, and she said, "This is your life.". Nonetheless, sometimes in the morning I still open my eyes and have to ask myself, "Is this my life? But t...

The Frosts go to Washington!: March 2010
http://thefrostsgotowashington.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
The Frosts go to Washington! Sunday, March 28, 2010. Good news and Gettysburg/Harper's Ferry. It's been a long time since we've updated the blog, so here is the exciting news:. JASON IS GOING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF KENTUCKY! JASON WAS AWARDED A FELLOWSHIP AT THE UNIVERSITY OF KENTUCKY! This means tuition is going to be cheaper than we thought. Hurray! Here is the letter awarding him the fellowship. Pretty darn exciting, huh? It's a giant, 360 degree painting of the battlefield. Jason looking pensieve on th...

The Frosts go to Washington!: Exciting news!
http://thefrostsgotowashington.blogspot.com/2010/04/exciting-news.html
The Frosts go to Washington! Monday, April 5, 2010. We have an apartment in Kentucky and we can move in on May 10, 2010. Things are shaping up quite nicely; we're still waiting on the whole job thing, but that will work out too. Tonight we took a long walk around the FDR memorial and the Tidal Basin to see the cherry blossoms: 3.4 miles total! It was pretty warm still (it's 82 degrees outside right now), but the sun was setting and we got some nice pictures. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Martin Lut...

The Frosts go to Washington!: Did I mention...
http://thefrostsgotowashington.blogspot.com/2010/04/did-i-mention.html
The Frosts go to Washington! Wednesday, April 7, 2010. That last week I woke up at 1:00 am and took a shower and started getting ready for work? I couldn't remember if I wrote about that when it happened, but if I didn't, I wanted to make sure I recorded such a strange moment for posterity. In other news, I got to go on a tour of the Pentagon today! We are so excited to hear where he is going. My official guesses (stateside and international) are Seattle and Portugal. Jason's guess is Quebec (he ...A Loo...

http://thefrostsgotowashington.blogspot.com/2010/04/good-news-and-visit-from-frosts.html
The Frosts go to Washington! Friday, April 9, 2010. Good news and a visit from the Frosts! Good news of today: Dave received his mission call! He is going to the Quezon City mission in the Phillipines! He goes into the MTC on July 14th. Congratulations bro! Jason's parents came down today; it was so nice to see them! I got to fill up the bag myself at the soda fountain and got some strange looks from other customers. I've never seen soda in a pouch before. Me with the cherry blossoms! It's been a good day.
