Heya, Sparky!: Back In the Saddle: A New Blog
http://heyasparky.blogspot.com/2013/03/back-in-saddle-new-blog.html
Friday, March 8, 2013. Back In the Saddle: A New Blog. A year later I'm so glad I made that final request to keep me of your blog-feeds, because I've got some pretty exciting news! I'm teaming up B-Stew to start a new blog. We're two friends who are so similar in many ways but have somehow ended up in different worlds. Brandi's blogging from Mt.Rainier where she's a park ranger, I'm holding it down in Pittsburgh, and we'll hopefully find some common ground somewhere in between. Birth of a Blog.

Heya, Sparky!: Week 59
http://heyasparky.blogspot.com/2011/09/week-59.html
Friday, September 16, 2011. I've used plenty of facebook photos as Flashback material, but this is the first time facebook itself is the flashback. I would call this the FB caption that will live in infamy. or. people shouldn't talk about what they don't know. And for the record, this isn't a real bone. :) It's a prop for the school dance back when I was teaching. Oh you guys, indeed. Share a flashback of your own. Add it to your post to let others know where the party's at. September 16, 2011 at 9:29 AM.

Landlocked Blues: Photos of food
http://bryantclaire.blogspot.com/2011/03/photos-of-food.html
Cycling. Farming. Development. Dal Bhat. Kathmandu. Tuesday, March 22, 2011. My family recently pointed out to me that most of my photos ( which are posted here. Are of food. I go through phases with my photography, sometimes wanting to document everything and sometimes keeping my camera in the cupboard for weeks at a time. Those in-the-cupboard phases are usually when I'm report writing, data analyzing or other office bitchery and the most novel part of my day is in my encounters with food.

Landlocked Blues: A new season, a new garden
http://bryantclaire.blogspot.com/2011/03/new-season-new-garden.html
Cycling. Farming. Development. Dal Bhat. Kathmandu. Monday, March 14, 2011. A new season, a new garden. A garden tomato from summer 2010. That helped me think about where my food comes from and what my faith has to do with my food but if I'm honest, the real reason that I wanted to start a garden in Kathmandu because I miss our garden in Pittsburgh and the strange tomatoes that it produces. Soil solarization in Morang. And learned about soil solarization. The new MCC Nepal garden. Life in the du. A shout...

Cycling. Farming. Development. Dal Bhat. Kathmandu. Monday, October 10, 2011. Jaws and Cultural Faux Pas. This past week we celebrated the festival of Dashain in Nepal which is the biggest festival of the year and everyone goes home to see their family, take tikka and eat lots of meat. [For more real information about Dashain, check out this website. I was relieved that it wasn't a bigger deal and that I was able to get my jaw back and that was ok. My jaw getting cleaned.
