At Strumble Head we called it quits for the day's walking. the feet felt like they were being ground into the dirt with the weight of our packs. 2006 the year that was. 2006 was a busy year for Tom and I with very few blog postings throughout the year. Catch up now on what we did in 2006. Aug - the month of the garden. The front garden was always one of the lesser features of our house, and the last six years have done nothing to change that, so we decided it was time to make an upgrade. The tired lawn which didn't grow anyway was to go and be replaced with pathways and garden beds filled with natives. Perfect for these times of drought.

We were presented with a kit to make the house that included the walls and roof, icing, sweets and everything else we needed to complete the house.
