Friday, September 14, 2012. The girls are back in school and really enjoying it! School here starts a bit later, both in the day and the time! McKenna started 2nd grade on Tuesday, September 4th, and Adelyn started Kindergarten on Wednesday the 5th. School here doesn't start until 9:20! Very different from my "be at school by 7:30 or earlier" schedule from last year! She was very excited on the first day - especially to ride the bus! From her American Girl 'McKenna' set these are her 'beautiful braids'.

Friday, August 6, 2010. Where did July go? When I logged on the other day and noticed my last post was in June I freaked out! Well not really, just couldn't believe I hadn't logged at least once to post a picture of something! I mean, I did have the whole month of July off from my preschool job! What was I doing? Well, taking it easy I guess, but we did actually do a few things in July :) Probably have more photos on my phone, but I'll get those posted in September ;). Papa and Kenna on the new water toy!

Sunday, December 26, 2010. Well I've created a share site on shutterfly and I thought it would be interesting to use the "share to blogger" feature! Looks like you get a slideshow of my images! Someday I will figure. Out the best way to use all this technology in the same place, but for now I'm still playing around with all the options! Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Last day of Kindergarten. So it's official - I have a 1st grader! Yesterday was the last 1/2 day of school (thank goodness! And I didn't get many pictures, but couldn't miss Kenna getting her award! She earned the SJS Eagle Award - only 1 kid per class gets the award! She was VERY surprised since her teacher told us last week not to tell her and in Kindergarten I don't think they even know they get awards. Her very sweet teacher, Mrs. Smith! Friday, May 20, 2011. Sunday, November 25, 2012. We celebrated Thanksgiving at our friends' parents' farm this year. The kids (and adults) had a blast and it was a beautiful Texas day. We have so much to be thankful for in our family and we don't take our blessings from God for granted. I went to bootcamp in the evening and stayed to chat for a bit, so got home late. Trey: You will NEVER believe what happened tonight.
