Reaching New Heights: Mother of Two
http://thesmithstendermercies.blogspot.com/2015/07/mother-of-two.html
July 13, 2015. My due date was April 16th. The Dr had me scheduled to be induced on my due date. She says that I have "big babies" and she didn't want me to risk having complications. On the 14th, I started having stronger contractions in the afternoon. I timed them and kept track. They were about every 10 minutes. Then my sister-in-law came over with her baby. We talked and played. I was distracted and didn’t think about the contractions as much. After she left, Josh came home and we ate a late dinner.

Eastons in the Mid-West: April 2015
http://mcsheaston.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Eastons in the Mid-West. Friday, April 10, 2015. Spring break always happens right around Dallin's birthday. So this year we decided to take a short weekend trip to Chicago to take the boys to the Legoland Discovery Center. On the drive up there, Dallin got to open his first birthday present from his Easton grandparents: The Lego Movie. They were silently glued to the screen for the rest of trip. There was a replica of the Chicago skyline made from Legos. And a rainforest filled with lego animals. This i...

Eastons in the Mid-West: October 2014
http://mcsheaston.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Eastons in the Mid-West. Wednesday, October 22, 2014. There were farm animals that we got to pet in the barn. Actors are dressed up in period clothing and they teach you about life in Indiana in the 19th century as you explore the "town.". The kids sat listening to this blacksmith talk about his job for like 10 minutes. I was amazed at their attention span. The kids got to dress up and do chores. Connor in the apron/skirt is cracking me up. (It was his choice to wear it.). I love these 3 cuties. There ar...

Eastons in the Mid-West: Star Wars Birthday
http://mcsheaston.blogspot.com/2014/03/star-wars-birthday.html
Eastons in the Mid-West. Monday, March 31, 2014. Dallin loves Star Wars. He wears his Darth Vader shirt all the time and is always asking to watch the movies ("A New Hope" and "Return of the Jedi" are his favorites). So I was not surprised when I started planning for Dallin's fifth birthday and he asked for a Darth Vader cake. I went beyond the cake and planned a whole Star Wars themed birthday party for him. The inspiration for the invitation and a lot of the other party ideas came from Homemade by Jill.

Eastons in the Mid-West: Rolly Boy
http://mcsheaston.blogspot.com/2009/09/rolly-boy.html
Eastons in the Mid-West. Monday, September 21, 2009. I finally got a video of Dallin rolling over! Of course, babies never do things the way you plan, so there is a little "surprise" at the end. It's actually kinda funny, but I do have to warn you that if you get squeamish about baby fluids, you might not want to watch this. For the rest of you, enjoy! Labels: my growing baby. I love that his very proud of myself look that he has on his face changes instantly to dangit! I hate it when that happens!

Reaching New Heights: And A Happy New Year
http://thesmithstendermercies.blogspot.com/2015/01/and-happy-new-year.html
January 02, 2015. And A Happy New Year. Moving was a bit stressful, but so rewarding. Josh and I are settled into our new home. We are loving our house and the neighborhood. I think that my favorite part about our new house is the large window that is high above our entryway. I like to watch the stars through that window at night. I also love that it is outlined with icicles. What am I going to accomplish? What goals am I going to achieve.or even set for that matter? Adriaan is more independent now and I...

The World As I See It: December Update
http://worldofdara.blogspot.com/2011/12/december-update.html
The World As I See It. Tuesday, December 27, 2011. I haven't updated in a while, but here are some of the highlights from December:. Christmas Day shot, all dressed up for church. We can't open one present until February. And then of course it wouldn't be the Christmas season without a trip to Temple Square to see all the lights. I hope you had a great Christmas and here's to a happy new year! I hope youve been feeling well! Only a few more weeks! January 4, 2012 at 8:27 AM. The hubby and me.
