The travels of Blair and Dennis. Star Clipper – October 12. Star Clipper – October 14 →. Star Clipper – October 13. October 14, 2014. Today was our first port call. We docked on the Greek island of Rhodes at noon. The geography in this area is pretty interesting. Greece and Turkey are only about six miles apart which makes for some potentially interesting border issues. We took a bus tour from which we went AWOL about 2/3 of the way through. Then we just explored the town. Here are some photos of our day.
