http://westbrook316.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Confessions of a Television Addict. Wednesday, March 24, 2010. Day 3 and 4. The last two days without television. Honestly, I haven't thought it about it too much. Yesterday, I came home and Adam was waiting on me. We ate a light dinner of cereal (I can't be the only one who ends up eating cereal for dinner every now and then) and then took off to run. He surprised me and took me to Sweetwater State Park. It was AWESOME! As soon as I finish blogging how it is going, I will still have a couple of hours be...

The White House: October 2012
http://thiswhitehouse.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Donald and I have been a bit under the weather, so we decided to cancel our yearly Halloween dinner and keep it low-key this year. Donald manned the fort and gave out candy while Emily and I ventured out into the madness that is our neighborhood on Halloween. She's all tuckered out and ready for bed right now! And so am I! That was one heavy bucket by the time she got home. Donald, Amanda, and Emily. Favorite book character this year - a gymnast. Donald, Amanda, and Emily.

The White House: November 2012
http://thiswhitehouse.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 09, 2012. I took this picture on the way home from Publix the other day. I love the reading, but seriously, the subject matter baffles me. Donald, Amanda, and Emily. Our Japanese maple tree has turned a beautiful shade of red, so Emily and I decided to take a few pictures with it after school this week. Pretty tree, pretty girl! Something was skittering around in the bushes. She was a little freaked out! It was just a chipmunk, right? She chose this pose and location. Tree hugger! Having...

The White House: October 2013
http://thiswhitehouse.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 13, 2013. Donald and I went grocery shopping without Emily today and were smiling at the sounds of a toddler babbling in a nearby aisle. We both remarked that Emily rarely talked like that - she stayed silent for a really long time and then suddenly began speaking in complete sentences! We both said that it was difficult to remember what she sounded like when she first began speaking. Fortunately, through the magic of the Blogger time machine, we get to hear her all over again! Time for a...

The White House: March 2013
http://thiswhitehouse.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 07, 2013. Science Fair 2012 is officially over! Abby put together a fantastic project dealing with potential alternatives to poisonous ant killers. Just an FYI - you can temporarily repel ants with vinegar and chalk, but they'll eventually come back. You're better off sticking with Windex or plain old Raid. So proud of all of her hard work! Papa is glad that he doesn't have to wrangle any more fire ants. And doesn't her board look great? Donald, Amanda, and Emily. This is hilarious to me.
