Saturday, August 25, 2012. Day 3 (morning) THE END. Wow, time flies! We got one more morning at Disneyland before our flight back home. My hope was to find our final characters for their autographs. Dennis bought the kids autograph books that has a spot to insert the photo of the kids with that character. This was obviously my favorite mission! Shelby told him how silly he is. Goofy played the part well for him. Pluto was a hoot! The kids were cracking up. Grammy and Grandpa's turn for character photo!

Sunday, July 29, 2012. We returned later that night and took advantage of everyone watching the fireworks show to run through rides with shorter lines. Grandpa and Grammy got the kids toys when we got there, so MaryAnn had a new Minnie princess hat (which was popular with all of us) and Shelby had a crazy light up light sabor sword. Tuesday, September 1, 2009. Unfortunately while in Jakarta I worked quite a bit (yes there IS a downside to travel). Be that as it may, I had a very wonderful dinner with colleagues at Dapur Babah élite. Below are just a few of the meals we enjoyed. In addition to the food, the atmosphere and service was top notch. My eggplant, tofu, and yellow curry dish with a side of satay and rice - very traditional Indonesian. I don't remember what this was, but doesn't it look appetizing? Le Musee de Louvre.

Sunday, January 27, 2013. Sophie.Our First Day. There were several dogs, but Shelby wanted to know if we could walk Sophie. Shelby was funny, negotiating with the Rescue Shelter. He wanted to know if "we can keep the sweater". We convinced him to relinquish the sweater to other dogs they rescue that need it, promising he can pick out a new sweater for Sophie. LOL.I have to admit, I was proud! And then she was home. Shelby was the cutest, trying to make her comfy. Yeahwhat do you want me to do with this?

Lucky for me, I was in Istanbul during Ramadan, which is the Islamic month of fasting and prayer.
