It's not at all what I had pictured, but something I have learned "This is Lubbock. Don't set your expections of ANYTHING high. You WILL be dissappointed! Tuesday, August 18, 2009. My 'bestfriends' came to visit me! Ashylnn's 'bestfriends' came to visit for her birthday! Papa and Auntie stayed for 4 days and Mammy stayed for 2 weeks. Ashlynn had alot of fun and was very sad when they had to go home : ( But she is very excited to go visit in Washington on the 9th of September! Here we are at the Buddy Holly Center in Lubbock. Tuesday, August 18, 2009. Our little baby is growing up so fast! I cannot believe that she is 3 already! She had a 'Dora the Explorer' birthday party. She found the Dora things in the Birthday Express catalog and nothing I could say would change her mind! Here is the Birthday Girl with her Happy Birthday Dora! She was so excited to get that silly thing! We had to blow it up at least a dozen times in the 2 weeks before her party. At some point she had a party hat on each pigtail. Brushing the big teeth!

This is Ashlynn's new kitty 'Veda'. She got her as a kind of early birthday present. We got the name 'Veda' from the movie "My Girl". Sunday, August 8, 2010. Jackson has been wearing big boy underwear for about two weeks now! He now only occasionally has accidents, mostly #2, when he gets too busy and forgets. He still rarely tells us that he has to go so we have to remember to ask him. It is so nice not having two in diapers anymore both for the cost and cleanup. We are so proud of our little man! Obviously from the pictures he is still learning where the undies go and how they work! Larry, Natalie, Jackson and Adelaide Pruitt.

Saturday, July 17, 2010. Lazy 5 water play park. Today our car thermometer was reading 106 degrees so we headed off to the water play park to cool off. A fun time was had by all.or at least those that were awake for it! Jackson and Addie trying to stay in the shade. Jackson pretending to be a baby too. My favorite Jack quote of the day, "Water gets me wet! Imagine lots of giggling! Turning on the water tower water. A lot of the kids were sitting on the water but Jack went for the foot block.

Monday, June 21, 2010. We spent Father's Day at The Nevada Railroad Museaum in Carson city. We had a great time and Jackson was in heaven. That is one big Choo-Choo.
