Old Things Have Passed Away; Behold, All Things are Become New. Friday, March 14, 2014. Hard to believe our great-nephew is now a year old, here are a few of the "hundreds" of pictures I took the weekend we went to see him! Us admiring Cole back in March 2013! Sand Castle birthday cake. 12 months of Cole. The captain of the USS Cole. Birthday boy and his mama, our sweet niece Jessica. Maybe I'll touch this. Grabbing a bite of cake. This was so precious. Delight Full: Swimming and Swinging
http://delightfilled.blogspot.com/2011/04/swimming-and-swinging.html
Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Today Leah had her first swimming lesson. We are taking a parent-child course for 6 weeks. It's just something fun to get to acclimated to the water. We had a great time and look forward to going next week. She was so excited to wear her new swimsuit. When she saw herself in the mirror she said, "Cute." I had to agree. Looking for Blue Sky: delivered...

Monday, May 4, 2015. Once again God came to the rescue. Stuff is happening right now that could have easily prevented me from being able to honor some special Mama's this year. Big stuff. I honestly didn't know if this tradition was going to have to get cancelled this year. So I prayed.and God figured it out! I can't tell you how happy I am that this came together. The very best Mother's Day gift I could get this year (or any year) is to be able to brighten the day for some of these special Moms. If you ...

The Yost Family: Kaitlin's 6th Birthday
http://yosts.blogspot.com/2013/11/kaitlins-6th-birthday_14.html
Thursday, November 14, 2013. She is at an age that she thought she should be able to make all of the decisions about her party, but we had to veto some of her ideas. For example, she wanted to have half the party at the pool and then move to our house to eat dinner and have cake. That would be a logistical nightmare! Even though the party got cut short because a storm blew in, it was a lot of fun! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Ethan is Almost Four! A day in the Bankester life. Life in a Slow Cooker.

The Yost Family: November 2013
http://yosts.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 16, 2013. This will officially be my last "yellow chair" post. I think I started taking pictures of Ethan in this chair with his stuffed animals because I needed somewhere to prop him up. Although I have thought about doing it several times, I haven't taken his picture with the lion and zebra in over a year! Ethan has decided in the last few months that he does not want to rock before bed and that he wants a room without a rocker in it. I don't blame him really, he is almost four!

The Yost Family: February 2012
http://yosts.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 9, 2012. We Are the Dinosaurs. Currently, Ethan's favorite song is "We Are the Dinosaurs" by the Laurie Berkner band (thank you to Aunt Melissa and Kohl who passed this CD along to us). He loves to listen to it and play along. This was the second or third time we listened to the song. Ethan got out an instrument for each person and he was upset that Kaitlin had stopped playing! Links to this post. The Cobbs: December 2011
http://mycobbfamily.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 6, 2011. Okay, this is going to be a little update and somewhat of a small, random photo dump. I'm almost 39 weeks, and I'm feeling *pretty* well. I'm SUPER hormonal and emotional; I don't remember being this way so much with Hadley, but I'm sure that Jeremy could tell you for sure. I even cried today, which IS NOT like me! Jeremy is doing well! He has TWO exams on Saturday, so he is in full study mode! He also had to reschedule his last exam (originally scheduled for Dec 17, the day af...
