August 05, 2015. 2013 Ford Focus: Absolute Junk. 2013 Ford Focus has had the following issues. Upper strut bearings bad from the factory causing a rattle in the front suspension. Audio Control Unit failure - TWICE - causing loud crackling and popping through the sound system. "Loud" means full volume, scaring the crap out of everyone in the car and occurring even when the car is off and the key out of the ignition. Passenger doors do not lock. Random air bag light. Bottom line: don't buy. July 15, 2015.
