A blog about music, technology, and business. Laquo; A Decent And Affordable Full (88 Keys) Keyboard. Do Not EVER Go To This Website. Posted by Dave Mincy. On August 23, 2007. Okay, so I have your attention now. Be forewarned, I’m just trying to save you some money! I have a lot of people ask me where I get my music gear. Well, I’ve bought almost 100% of it at one place: Musician’s Friend. And my point, you ask? I find the reviews–by people who have actually bought the product you are considering&#...

Monday, August 20, 2012. First Day of Second Grade. Journey to Ladyship second grade school year has begun. Sadly, I am a little late in posting about our first day (considering that we just started our sixth week of school today) but better late than never, right? July 16, we began our day with our traditional sundae for breakfast. We are bad like that. The first day of school breakfast sundae would not be complete with a cherry on top. Lullabies and Lace: Alive and Well
http://lullabiesandlacecrochet.blogspot.com/2012/07/alive-and-well.html
Friday, July 06, 2012. 1 Remove pictures from camera onto the computer. (You would be surprised at how daunting that task alone can be. Just ask my sister. She just buys a new memory card instead of deleting the pictures.). 2 Brew a cup of coffee. 3 Find blog site and write title (or leave blank in case a better title comes to mind later). 4 Add creamer and sugar to coffee and take first sip. (This step can take quite a while.especially first thing in the morning.). 6 Drink more coffee. 19 With the incre...

Lullabies and Lace: May 2012

Monday, May 07, 2012. Child's Ruffled Garden Apron Gift Set. Sometimes I find it hard to shop for children who appear to own every item Toys 'R Us carries. And more often than not, I find myself with limited time with which to create unique, one-of-a-kind gifts. I mean, let's face it.who really has an over abundance of time on their hands? So, what can a mother do in this situation? Meet the situation head on. I sewed the bias tape in such a way that it doubles as the neck loop and the ties for the back ...

My first Summer of Socks socks are started | Yarnification
http://yarnification.daisywreath.net/2007/06/21/my-first-summer-of-socks-socks-are-started
Playing with yarn in the middle of the night. My first Summer of Socks socks are started. The beginnings of my first pair of Summer of Socks. The yarn is Marks & Kattens Clown, which is a cotton/wool blend, in colorway #1688, lots of pretty sky blues. Happy happy. I have not given up on the candle flame shawl, which is in time-out at the moment, or the Seraphina. But for slightly more money and aggravation (okay, well, a lot more aggravation) I could frog what I’ve done so far, get some black lacew...

Getting some work done | My Crochet Creations
https://mycrochetcreations.wordpress.com/2011/06/26/getting-some-work-done
My home for all my creations. Getting some work done. June 26, 2011. It’s been a while, as always, but I’m still working on the sweater vest. Hubby hurt his knee and had to have surgery so that kept me busy for a bit, but I’m back to work on it. I’m almost finished with the back and once that is done I’ll post a picture of it. I started the Lace Cardi. I have 5 extra stitches on each side, but that shouldn’t really make much of a difference to the end product. Comments Off on Getting some work done.

The Toilet Paper | Faith Returns Home
https://butomysoul.wordpress.com/2011/03/27/the-toilet-paper
Our medical clinic has a one page patient education page, cleverly named. It hangs in the public restrooms and informs the visitor about diabetes, low back pain, spousal abuse or the importance of vaccinations. I think teaching in the bathroom is a wonderful idea! Well, I am using the space above the toilet as a teaching tool. I made a Family Rules Canvas to adorn the wall. Adam and I once took a Sunday school class together on Parenting with Purpose. Follow rules even when you think no one is watching.
