It has ‘cooled off’ a little to the mid-70s – a cold front is coming through. Today we’re going to the Biosphere 2 just north of where we’re staying near Oracle. We’ll be gaining about 2,000 feet in elevation in the 20 mile drive and the high there will be 66 degrees with some wind. The University of Arizona is managing Biosphere 2 today. We drove through Moab on Highway 191. It is an ‘action area’ jeep rides, ATVing, rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking. You name it – it could be done there! After spending a couple of hours at the Maroon Bells we drove back to the coach and headed out to Cedaredge in western Colorado. It’s close to where our friends Todd and Becky live. We're Headin' North. . .er. . . South! If it ain't FUN.don't do it! Sunday, March 28, 2010. Today we golfed 18 holes with Jim and Faunie – this 18-hole thing is a first for me! Remember how competitive Tom is? Well, for the first several holes I was either even or one up on him! Then we had to wait a while for the people in front of us so I got a little break – ate a granola bar and drank some water.
