http://unpoeticlife.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Brightly colored sunsets and starry heavens, majestic mountains and shining seas, and fragrant fields and fresh-cut flowers are not even half as beautiful as a soul who is serving Jesus out of love, through the wear and tear of an ordinary, unpoetic life." -Frederick William Faber. Monday, May 20, 2013. First Slice Pie Cafe. Last weekend I stumbled upon this wonderful gem tucked inside Lillstreet Art Cente. R This place combines two of my greatest loves – art and pie. Each slice of pie is served on a beautiful ceramic plate made in the art studio. And the best part is that First Slice. Uses its profits to provide wholesome home-cooked meals to those who are hungry in the Chicago community. Will definitely be returning soon! Tuesday, May 14, 2013. Five dollar martini night!
