The FISH and CHIP VAN attracts customers from all over the world, many arriving by yacht. It has a strong local clientele as well as visitors from all over the UK. The Tobermory Health Services Auxiliary was actively involved in helping to make the dream of a new medical facility in Tobermory a reality. The goal was to raise $300,000 and this community did it! The site of the new building was cleared in the fall of 2011 and the new building was officially opened a year to the day of the start of the fundraising campaign.
