The majority of RP/blindness social media groups I follow are filled with articles of new research to cure blindness, and people wondering, questioning, lamenting, if/when a cure will be found. I used to be one of them. Lately though, I have started to wonder why. Why fix my slow vision loss? Why not stand and revel in the miracle of what it is to be half-sighted and half-blind?
