It should be easy. Vrijdag 27 juli 2012. That same day, when driving on the road towards the border with Namibia, which is going through the national park, I saw my first big wild animal on this trip when Regis spotted a giraffe in the bush. Luckily I spotted a bushfire on which I could warm myself but one hour later I was so cold again I was thinking of starting another bushfire. Zondag 8 juli 2012. Matadi, the day before we left. Lucky they are not driving very fast. From Kinshasa to Kikwit is asfalt.

For the moment we are in Dakhla and Mauritania is only one days drive away, but we decided to spend newyear here, as in Mauritania alcohol is forbidden and any alcohol that is found in your luggage, is immediately confiscated. Traseul ales pentru acest weekend a fost: Petrila, urcare pe Vf. Sureanu si coborare prin Cimpa. Toate bune si frumoase doar ca asa-zisul drum 709K este o mare tzapa, iar ultimii km din el, cei ce urca in creasta pe gol alpin LIPSESC! Nicio legatura cu marcajele de pe google earth, nimic!
