Radish Express: September 2009
http://radishexpress.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Not rad but "radish". Sunday, September 20, 2009. Cop Shop Jam and Beasley Session. It was an establishing of hierarchies or dominance that was interesting to watch, with Jill feeling a greater need to demonstrate her power position in relation to the bikers than Matt. I asked Drew about the Copshop Jam, and he said that they seemed to have it under wraps, so he didn't feel the need to attend. He didn't seem resentful, just happy to let them "do their thing". AUTISM OPTIMISM: Autistic Man Swims Across Lake Ontario
http://autismoptimism.blogspot.com/2008/07/autistic-man-swims-across-lake-ontario.html
CLICK HERE FOR BLOGGER TEMPLATES. Autistic Man Swims Across Lake Ontario. It's been a tough couple of weeks dealing with the rotten smell from Mike Savage's garbage. Pheeew! On a more positive note, Jay Serdula. Has challenged himself and the world to take notice of his learning disability and his athletic ability by swimming across Lake Ontario. A brave undertaking to say the least and certainly a more welcome positive light to shine on autism for a change! See the links below. View my complete profile.

Radish Express: February 2010
http://radishexpress.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Not rad but "radish". Thursday, February 18, 2010. I had some thoughts last night, but forget what they were. Let me recount, instead a skateboard excursion I made about two weeks ago now, when the air was cold but the pavement of downtown Hamilton was dry and clear. I had just put together my new Mark Gonzalez. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Radish Express: It Only Hurts When I Walk
http://radishexpress.blogspot.com/2011/06/it-only-hurts-when-i-walk.html
Not rad but "radish". Monday, June 13, 2011. It Only Hurts When I Walk. But I'm worried that the erosion to my joints has occurred in such a way that the even, back and forth motion of roller skates would be too much for my body to handle. I'd probably take off the left skate and start pushing myself around on one skate, just to feel better. And then what would I do with the extra left skate? It would be a complete waste. Radish Express: The House Fly Effect
http://radishexpress.blogspot.com/2010/11/house-fly-effect.html
Not rad but "radish". Monday, November 8, 2010. The House Fly Effect. Well, tomorrow I'm off to Brantford to deliver a guest-lecture about skateboarding at a course on Youth Culture. I've got slides and video clips and photos of the Bease renovation. Then the whole class will walk to Branford's downtown skate plaza to make some field observations, and the instructor and anyone else who is so inclined might even roll around a little, after we've signed a waiver of course. Radish Express: The 5th Annual Beasley BBQ
http://radishexpress.blogspot.com/2011/06/magic-of-beasley-park.html
Not rad but "radish". Saturday, June 25, 2011. The 5th Annual Beasley BBQ. The Hamilton Skateboard Assembly had a table which kids could bring their boards to and have their bearings cleaned, their grip tape topped up, or they could even trade in a set of worn down old wheels or trucks for one of the sets of the used but still ridable equipment that Oldschool and Popeye had rounded up. There was also a brand new deck, courtesy of Flatspot. Skateboarders are more used to being kicked off streets and prope...

Radish Express: August 2010
http://radishexpress.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Not rad but "radish". Monday, August 30, 2010. End -O- Summer Skate Report. I've been so busy with home renovations, reading for school, swimming, gallivanting around, and, of course, skateboarding, that I haven't had time to update the blog in a while, but I have the sore knees and sprained wrist to prove that the last few weeks have been full of radical-ish thrashing activity (well, it's all relative, isn't it? I missed the last day of the Beasley Park Skatebaord Jam, which got rained out three weeks a...

Autistic Warrior: Final Exam
http://autisticwarrior.blogspot.com/2009/04/final-exam.html
WHAT IS MY LITTLE WARRIOR FIGHTING FOR? A chance to achieve his full potential and his God given right to live a life with dignity and happiness in our CANADIAN SOCIETY! Saturday, April 4, 2009. This past Tuesday was the final exam for the Geneva course I've been attending. It was quick, painless ;), and a pretty good summary of the course information. What was even better, was the hour or so spent afterwards enjoying a cup of apple cinnamine tea! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
