Friday, March 7, 2014. Why haven't we been posting? Just a quick update. We deleted a lot of posts (over a year's worth) a while back and haven't posted since. Why? We needed to protect our daughter and the adoption. Unfortunately, we still cannot get into specifics online. We can say that things are moving! Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Do you realize that we have been in the process for four years this May? She is 14 years old now. Posted by Trey and Cindy Emerson. Bring Beatrice Home: 46 in 46 Days
http://bringbeatricehome.blogspot.com/2012/07/46-in-46-days.html
Sunday, July 1, 2012. 46 in 46 Days. I've always tried to teach our children the importance of random acts of kindness. When Christian and Austin were little, we had a "Star Chart." They earned stars for chores, reading, and acts of kindness. They would spend their stars on different things, such as bowling, movies, sleepovers, money, etc. We stopped the car in the middle of the road, jumped out and walked up to the little girl and her parents. Taylor said "Merry Christmas" as she handed her a balloo...

Bring Beatrice Home: Photos
http://bringbeatricehome.blogspot.com/p/photos.html
These pictures were taken in May 2010 during our. Medical mission trip to Les Cayes, Haiti. The orphans made this sign for the front door of our bunkhouse. Look at how small her arms are in this picture. She's 11 years old, 4' 4" and 56 lbs. On the growth chart, she ranks at 3% for height and weight. Sadly, all the orphans are malnourished. Beatrice and the other orphans were attempting to braid Trey's hair. Beatrice had these sores over her entire body. She told Trey that. And playing with Trey. Please ...

Bring Beatrice Home: Good Intentions
http://bringbeatricehome.blogspot.com/2012/07/good-intentions.html
Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Monday was unpredictable, to say the least. I drove to Nashville for a doctor's appointment only to find out that I was a week early. As I was leaving, I saw a woman standing next to the street. She was holding a sign asking for help as her three children were sitting nearby. I knew what I needed to do. I drove a few miles down the road to Kroger and filled a grocery cart full of food. When I returned, the family was gone. Now, onto RAOK #3. Posted by Trey and Cindy Emerson.
