Living like a tourist: A Christmas Wow
http://www.livinglikeatourist.com/2014/12/a-christmas-wow.html

We knew nothing about the events, or the layout of the festivities, having only based our decision about Brussels on an article in some magazine saying th...

Tools for Living Like a Tourist. Thursday, February 5, 2015. We have now done this for Sardegna, Brussels. And most recently for Tunis. Mint tea with pinoli. It was as good as it looks. Our standard M.O. could have used some work. Clock tower in Place 14 Janvier 2011. St Vincent Cathedral on Avenue Habib Bourguiba.

http://www.livinglikeatourist.com/2013/09/go-north-instead-ferragosto-holiday-in.html
Tools for Living Like a Tourist. Friday, September 13, 2013. Go north instead: Ferragosto holiday in Krakow. Is like Christmas. For the August 15 holiday and the subsequent ponte. Days to take off to bridge the gap between the holiday and a weekend), the tourist industry milks it for all it's worth. What's more is that, from Italy, most people gravitate to the same places, i.e. somewhere south and/or beach-y. I was hopeful that they would be thoughtful of vegetarians. Underground Cathedral made of salt.
