Stage 17 – Wednesday 10th July; Embrun – Chorges (32km) →. Stage 16 – Tuesday 9th July; Vaison La Romaine – Gap (168km). July 11, 2013. The quieter, northern side of Ventoux and the Gorges de Meouge were particularly spectacular – personal reminder to return to this area (without the bike). The north side of the Ventoux is truly beautiful.

Stage 21 – Sunday 14th July; Versailles – Paris Champs Elysees (46 km) →. Stage 20 – Saturday 13th July; Annecy – Semnoz (125km). July 15, 2013. At this point, it seemed appropriate that each rider was left alone with his thoughts on the mountain to climb at their own pace and to contemplate the magnitude of their accomplishments.
