Nack for Track: February 2014
http://nackfortrack.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
A source for all track athletes. Beginning of season FAQs. As we get underway with our season tomorrow (Monday, February 24, 2014) quite a few questions frequently come up that I will answer here as best as I can. To practice do I have to all of my registration materials in, including physical? Where do we meet for practice? Along with most Mondays we will meet in room 3500/3550 (Mrs. Jones and Ms. Malson's room in VPA). What should I wear? What time does practice start? What time does practice end?

MisterCellaneous: I get "Get Fuzzy"
http://mistercellaneous.blogspot.com/2007/08/i-get-get-fuzzy.html
Just like Timex, it takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Thursday, August 30, 2007. I get "Get Fuzzy". Why do I like the comic strip “Get Fuzzy? It’s not the laugh-out-loud funniest strip I have ever read, nor is it as absurd as “The Far Side,” nor is it as iconic as “Peanuts,” nor is it as whimsical ad “Calvin and Hobbes,” nor is it as pop-cultural as “Bloom County,” nor is it as compellingly complicated as “Li'l Abner.”. But, that being said, I really like the characters. At one point, Bucky was destr...

http://mistercellaneous.blogspot.com/2007/07/elwee-and-tree-weasels.html
Just like Timex, it takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Saturday, July 28, 2007. Elwee and the Tree Weasels. Boy, YouTube has a wealth of things, like Kricfalusi Mighty Mouse episodes. Http:/ www.youtube.com/watch? Here's the Elwee and the Tree Weasels episode. Why is that 20 years later, this stuff never fails to amuse me? And what the hell is that in Sandy Bottomfeeder's mouth? And, why all the relish? Here's a bonus: an old favorite:. Http:/ www.youtube.com/watch? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

MisterCellaneous: Novelists give comics their Zombies and Widows (or comics about women, part three)
http://mistercellaneous.blogspot.com/2011/03/novelists-give-comics-their-zombies-and.html
Just like Timex, it takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Friday, March 4, 2011. Novelists give comics their Zombies and Widows (or comics about women, part three). How interesting that this article. Should come out on Comic Book Resources just as I am finishing up my brief (and wholly incomplete) tour of comics with good female lead characters. It’s coincidental, because “iZombie”. Was one of the comics I was going to talk about. Which I mentioned here. Of “ Madman,”. I have bought almost everything All...

Less Than Our Best: Assault Charge Brought Against Pistorius
http://givingless.blogspot.com/2009/09/assault-charge-brought-against.html
Less Than Our Best. Sacrificing the gift since 2007. Monday, September 14, 2009. Assault Charge Brought Against Pistorius. Oscar Pistorius - aka The Blade Runner - has been accused of assaulting a young woman attending a party thrown by the South African athlete. (Pistorius claims the 19-year-old woman injured herself by kicking a door.) If the accusations prove to be true, I can only hope things didn't go down like this:. Phoned in by Jeremy.
