At Trengwainton Tearooms all our food is made to order from locally sourced fresh ingredients. Why not visit us to enjoy a morning coffee, lunch, freshly baked cakes or an afternoon cream tea. For light lunches try our homemade soups, jacket potatoes, toasties, panninis or our free-range egg omelettes and don't forget that in addition to this we also have great. Specials' which vary daily. Lunches are served between 12-3pm unless otherwise stated. CHEFS 'Platinum' award (for 5 consecutive 'Gold' awards).

Trengwainton is Cornish for 'house of springs' which is a reference to the many small springs that run throughout the garden. It is plant growers dream with plants from around the globe scattered throughout the 25-acre garden, where there is something to inspire around every corner. Be inspired by some great kitchen garen ideas and spend your time taking in the beautiful surroundings of Trengwainton, and on your journey drop into the tearooms for some quality refreshment!

This year, the bluebells, though late to arrive, have been especially beautiful, mingling here with the prolific three-cornered leek, and bathed in dappled sunlight. We tread this path often, and I love seeing how the woodland changes through the seasons. It's also on the route we use to walk to one of our favourite tea rooms.
