Tuesday, November 27, 2012. November 27, 2012. Hi everyone, it's Mrs. Conley! I'm so glad to be back at Lakeview. I loved having an extended maternity leave with my new little guy, Josh. but I sure missed my students! This week is exciting. The 7th and 8th graders will be going on their bowling field trips, which is always a fun time. Health classes will be meeting through the week in my classroom. Friday, September 6, 2013. The first rotation in PE/Health has started! When students rotate into health class over the next few weeks, the following are the topics that will be discussed:. 6th grade: health triangle, safety (personal, home and community). 7th grade: tobacco (students will learn short and long term effects of smoking as well as refusal skills). 8th grade: death and dying. In addition, the Darien-Woodridge Fire Department will be visiting each health class to do a lesson on fire safety.

Monday, October 22, 2007. Red Ribbon week 2007. Red Ribbon week 2007 was kicked off today with an assembly by Motivational Media. Students were given red ribbon bracelets to wear throughout the week. Thursday, September 25, 2008. Spirit wear forms were handed out to all students during homebase today. Please consider ordering a t-shirt, hooded sweatshirt or sweatpants to help show your school spirit. Proceeds from spirit wear will help support student council and all of the projects we do throughout the school year. Orders are due by October 9th.
