Ward Family Happenings: New Years Eve
http://jdwardfamily.blogspot.com/2015/01/new-years-eve.html
Friday, January 9, 2015. New Year's Eve was a fun night for us. We were supposed to hang out with friends, but then decided we wanted to go to bed early so we stayed home. We put Bode to bed at her normal time and let the other two stay up for a little while. We built a marble track. We played with the marble track. The boys did some fireworks while Raegan hid in the house. She got as far away as she could and kept telling me "I don't like fireworks". Cheers to a great new year! Snippets From the Smith's.

Count your many blessings name them one by one.and it will surprise you what the Lord has done." I had to write this tonight because I have been blessed with amazing friends and new "non-blood" family that I just kind of get overwhelmed with love.a LOT! We were the recipients of some snow this week. We were all excited and happy to see it falling, but even more excited that we got enough to actually play in! Of course, this also revealed that my children have not had the experience frequently enough to r...

Milk & Cookies Party – 1st Birthday | the hammond family
https://wearehammonds.wordpress.com/2012/06/25/milk-cookies-party-1st-birthday
Our journey – one photo at a time. Milk and Cookies Party – 1st Birthday. Here’s my quick recap of S’s 1st birthday… only about a month late. I did a TERRIBLE job of taking pics during the party! I guess when you’ve got a 3 year old and a 1 year old running around, snapping pics is not at the top of the to-do list. My hubby did get a few pics of the food table, so I’ve at least got those to post. Invitations (designed by yours truly):. Top left): Sprinkle rimmed cups! Top left): oreo pops! My favorites a...

Learning to sew in your 40s. The Seamworks Astoria, Mark II. July 22, 2015. August 26, 2015. I LOVE this top, in fact I’d go as far as to say it’s possibly my favourite make to date! 🙂 While I didn’t get it right first time around, I knew Colette’s Astoria. Was worth a second attempt: this time in the right. Size and in a beautiful fabric I treated myself to with some of my marking pay. Online shop. It certainly wasn’t cheap, but so, so. I ordered in my Summer Holiday #Sundaysevens. Impression my previo...

And is a round up of the week’s smaller events and achievements, that otherwise wouldn’t merit a post of their own. To join in, head over to Nat’s site to find out more. My children have still been at school this week, so I spent the majority of my week days on my exam marking, now finally finished, hurrah! I had a go at making Deliciously Ella’s. A year...

Learning to sew in your 40s. April 29, 2015. I love it when this happens! Originally 75, this was reduced to 50, and then 25. But seriously, that was a big hole, two of them in fact! The shop assistant was obviously amazed that I was prepared to buy it at all, asking me incredulously: ‘you have noticed the big hole in the front, haven’t you? 8217; Well, doh! 8216;I can sew…’ I replied, fairly. The sleeves made me do it! The peplum must be a bit of a scrapper. From a distance it looks just fine. I fig...
