100 Word Story ‘Train’. July 12, 2015. The normal goings-on of city life are punctuated by a brief flicker followed by sudden and unforeseen darkness. The sound of footsteps, transportation and chatter is replaced by sudden silence then cries of panic and confusion as the lights blink out and fail to turn back on. For several seconds, people stop in incomprehension. The silence is punctured by a woman’s scream. Why aren’t they turning back on? Onto the ground, its dim screen a shining beacon in blackness.

Stretched by a new idea. Monday, 8 August 2011. Evernote - how I learned to stop worrying about remembering and love the elephant. Elephant Skin by Meredith G. Thanks to 23Things I now LOVE Evernote. When he delves behind the real reasons we can begin to see people who are always busy with some compassion. Busyness serves as a kind of existential reassurance, a hedge against emptiness;obviously your life cannot possibly be silly or trivial or meaningless if you are so busy, completely booked, in demand every hour of the day". One good thing about being a. Our di...

May 26 Monday Dublin | Wanderings
https://arundellmf.wordpress.com/2014/05/27/may-26-monday-dublin
In search of self, wanderings and wonderings. May 26 Monday Dublin. John, Mary and the two boys left early so I said met goodbyes the night before. John took my luggage with him so I could browse Dublin then pick it up on the way to the airport from his office. Walking through Trinity College I noticed there was already a queue for the Book of Kells. Fortunately I had watched the Michael Collins movie with the Egans and knew the rest of it. Dublin turned on its magic weather, rain and 13 degrees. I didn&...

Stretched by a new idea. Thursday, 29 July 2010. What’s in a name? Looking at job vacancies in the education sector it seems that a rough generalisation can be made about nomenclature as follows:. Universities favour Library and Information Services, with the occasional Information Commons. I have also seen Learning Information Centre (LIC) at a Community College and. If one was cynical this could ...
