The Leopard: The Terrible Golden Frog
http://iamtheleopard.blogspot.com/2010/06/terrible-golden-frog.html
Tuesday, June 29, 2010. The Terrible Golden Frog. Often wonders what I could I have become other than an artist. Without much thought, I think I would have been a zoologist. I had lots of animals in my home as a child. Fish, birds, dogs, cats, lizards. For a while my pals and I were on a tropical fish kick when I was around 13-14, spending all our paper route money on rare specimens. One of the most fascinating creatures I remember reading about is the Phyllobates terribilis,. Whose venom is a cure.

The Leopard: JACK "KING" KIRBY!
http://iamtheleopard.blogspot.com/2010/05/jack-king-kirby.html
Saturday, May 22, 2010. The only person The Leopard. Can think of whose name should always be written in caps is the brilliant cartoonist JACK "KING" KIRBY. Reator and co-creator of some of the greatest characters ever conceived. From his drawing board, the soft spoken Kirby dreamt up massive worlds of gods and monsters with such intense proliferation that they literally burst from the comic book pages. Captain America. Kamandi, Mr. Miracle. The list is truly endless. There would be no Marvel Comics.

The Leopard: The Falcon bears the falconer
http://iamtheleopard.blogspot.com/2014/08/the-falcon-hears-falconer.html
Monday, August 18, 2014. The Falcon bears the falconer. Some time ago on a long work weekend The leopard stayed at a beautiful resort in the midwest. It was the kind where almost every creature comfort you could imagine was attended to: masseuses, olympic size pools, and fully stocked bars. the only issue seemed to be that if you wanted to dine outdoors you had to battle dive-bombing birds, capable of whipping food bits directly off your plate, or your fork. New York, New York, United States. As is my wo...

Tuesday, June 3, 2014. Bleeker Street Nigger Incident. On an overcast day a few weeks ago, The Leopard. Had a soul-shaking experience. The Leopard: Look Into My Eyes
http://iamtheleopard.blogspot.com/2010/05/new-ideas.html
Saturday, May 22, 2010. Look Into My Eyes. The Leopard showed up at the Museum of Modern Art. Last week to catch up on what's new and happening, but it ended up feeling more like a wedding: Something old, something new, something borrowed; something blue. I was prompted to drop by because of the ads I'd seen circulating around the city advertising a major exhibit of the photography of the great Henri Cartier-Bresson. In stark contrast to that exhibit was the performance artist Marina Abramovic. Its impos...

The Leopard: October 2014
http://iamtheleopard.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 27, 2014. Farrah Fawcett Majors And The Fallacy Of The Nipple. Back in High School, when The Leopard. Was but a cub, I often found myself obsessing. I have a collector’s heart, and whenever I’d obsess, I’d collect. It was simply a way of trying to grasp my need. Like practically every other American male at the time, I had a huge crush on that vision of all that was right in the world, the utterly exquisite Farrah Fawcett–Majors. Labels: Charlie’s Angels. New York, New York, United States.

The Leopard: Wynton, come blow your horn
http://iamtheleopard.blogspot.com/2014/06/wynton-come-blow-your-horn.html
Tuesday, June 10, 2014. Wynton, come blow your horn. Some years ago in The Leopard. I grabbed for the doors and tried to pry them open with all my strength. A good Samaritan - a young woman who had been sitting next to me - picked up the case and tried to hand it to me through the closing doors. I felt utter horror as the train began to move forward. I yelled ,"Stop! At the top of my lungs as the train started to speed up, leaving the station. Jazz at Lincoln Center. New York, New York, United States.

The Leopard: What I'm listening to now
http://iamtheleopard.blogspot.com/2010/09/what-im-listening-to-now.html
Wednesday, September 22, 2010. What I'm listening to now. As is my wont, The Leopard. Listens to an enormous amount of music. I find beauty in almost all things, so my taste, I like to think, is fairly eclectic. The only differences I see in music is good or bad. And that, of course, is up to the listener. Here's a Leopard's list of what I'm digging now on my headphones. Irregardless of whether the songs are old or new. Sleeping Giant" From the transitional album Crossings. Chicken Grease".
