Maarija and Anski in Namibia (and in Finland). Friday, June 26. Thursday, June 25. Miss, misser, missest. A word about the leggings. It's a free country and my attempt is not to be judgemental, nevertheless I have to comment on the modern fashion (or it seems that's the fashion, how would I know? It seems Lindsay Lohan knows. [http:/ stylefrizz.com/img/lindsay-lohan-leggings.jpg]). Leggings with shorts? And the worst - just leggings! Especially the neon coloured leggings! Well people, now that the leggin...

Maarija and Anski in Namibia (and in Finland). Thursday, April 15. Ok because Anski so politely demanded, a quick update. 1 I live officially in Helsinki. 2 I'm officially a teacher. 3 I'm officially unemployed. 4 I've cut my hair (or mum did). 5 I've been waiting for a visa for the past three months. 6 I'm in love, truly for the first time in my life. 8 I miss my friends. 9 I miss my Oulu life. 10 I'm flying to Edinburgh on Sunday (if Eyjafjallajoekull calms down). 11 My life is very boring these days.

Maarija and Anski in Namibia (and in Finland). Wednesday, March 25. Our real estate agent has been a pain in the neck, she is only available and in touch with us when she wants money, otherwise all the others things fixings etc. she promises, promises and nothing happens. The other accommodates had left behind a water bill of 8000 NAD (YES! That's about the only thing I miss in Finland, apart from some people of course. When we received that e-mail we were so beaten. Can you imagine? Friday, March 13.

Maarija and Anski in Namibia (and in Finland). Monday, April 20. Ok so I arrived to church a little late, around 9.08, the first hymn had already been started but guys I tell you the church was packed! The pastor started preaching of the freedom in Jesus Christ and the message of Easter combining it to the freedom of Namibia and SWAPO etc. Why do you think that it is good to believe in Christ and to be a Namibian? Make a list from what are you are abstaining yourself and why? Saturday, April 11. But yeah...

Maarija and Anski in Namibia (and in Finland): August 2010
http://namibiahipot.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Maarija and Anski in Namibia (and in Finland). Tuesday, August 31. Wednesday, August 25. Tomorr...

Maarija and Anski in Namibia (and in Finland). Wednesday, May 27. I went to get tomatoes and onions and there was nobody to weigh them for me, did it myself! Heard people talking about the prices and trying to find the cheapestproducts. Saw calorie marks everywhere! Juice 45 calories, mints 6 calories, bread 40 calories, what? Who cares; bring the white bread, eggs, salt and greasy chicken! Facebook started to work again, gotta go! PS You can not imagine how good the real ruisleipä ryebread tastes! It fe...

Maarija and Anski in Namibia (and in Finland): September 2010
http://namibiahipot.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Maarija and Anski in Namibia (and in Finland). Monday, September 27. Like I earlier told my work consists mainly of training pre-school teachers, however since the project that I work for has very limited staff I get to work on a bunch of other things also. As my work happens in two of the poorest areas of Katutura you always find getting an income is something that people struggle a lot with and so income generation is also a part of our projects goals and I have been helping out with that part. However...

Maarija and Anski in Namibia (and in Finland). Monday, June 28.

Maarija and Anski in Namibia (and in Finland). Friday, September 11. To infinity and beyond! Sometimes it seems like infinity is mine and Anniina's goal, or at least that's how i often feel like when I lie in bed trying to sleep but for some reason my mind just wonders on endlessly! As Anski earlier wrote we have a lot going on with our "project", and we still are struggling with the same questions, why are we doing this? Is it worth it? What happens after that then? Feel like having some beetroot now.
