Don't Be Stranded by the Side of the Road. In your 2003-2007 6.0 Ford Diesel Pickup or Excursion! The Ford 6.0L Diesel Engine has a well known problem of blowing off the blue silicone boot attaching the turbo to the hot side Charge Air Cooler (CAC) Tube. This can occur under conditons when the turbo is producing a large amount of boost, commonly blowing off when towing a large load (horse trailer, camping trailer, etc.) up a grade. The solution is the CAC Tube Brace. Included in the kit:.
