It’s fact →. October 27, 2006. Sugar-free, whole wheat, berry muffins. 1 cup mashed banana. One tablespoon flaxseed, mixed well with three tablespoons cold water. 2 cups whole-wheat flour. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 2 1/4 teaspoons baking powder. 1 cup berries (I used raspberry, but blueberries, blackberries or finely chopped strawberries would also work well). 1 Preheat oven to 350 F. Line or spray 15 muffin cups. Hopefully a more interesting post will surface tomorrow, but for now, I need to make dinner.

Creative cooking in Troy, New York with locally-sourced ingredients. Saturday, April 4, 2015. Roast beef and rocket sandwiches. Red and white endive leaves with Trader Joe's spinach and kale greek yogurt dip. For Saturday breakfast, I took all of the crusts and separated them from the bits of roast beef and greens. I made an omelet with the roast beef and greens, and fed the crusts to the birds. Everyone was happy! Mini chocolate cupcakes with buttercream frosting and caramel sauce. My friend, Pete.

Downstairs Toad in the Hole*. 3 pork sausages, cut in half. 1 medium onion, quartered and sliced. 1-1 1/2 tbsp olive oil. 2 cups white flour. 2-3 tsp Worcestershire sauce. 1 tsp mustard powder. 1 1/2 tsp salt. 1 tsp black pepper. One of them is in the Berkshires, the Hancock Shaker Village, and the other one is in Albany/Colonie. We went to visit shortly after moving here. Aside from their sturdy and simple but beautiful furniture and the song "Tis a Gift to be Simple, Tis a Gift to be Free.". 1/2 tsp lemon peel. 3/4 tsp cream of tartar.
