Twistfully Yours: A Thief In The House

http://www.twistfullyyours.blogspot.com/2014/05/a-thief-in-house.html

Monday, May 19, 2014. A Thief In The House. I've started to knit a new shawl. Knitting right now for me is more portable than my sewing. I have to find my sewing room after what seems like a long hiatus from quilting. It seems when my family doesn't know where to put something it lands in the centre of my cutting table. Yesterday I was able to clear through most of the stuff and find it a good home (often the garbage bag). Neither Oscar or Ondine are talking. I think they're holding out for treats. I am ...

Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Surviving Back to School. My well-meaning thought that I would blog every day crashed just as quickly as I started. Our family has managed to survive back to school. My photo isn't awesome.sorry.I'll try to get some better ones up but in the meantime this is what I have. In the meantime, I have decided to clean out some bins of UFO's. I should count how many are there so you can keep me honest. UFO #1: Lone Star Quilt. Designed by "3 Sisters". Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://www.twistfullyyours.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html

Wednesday, October 24, 2012. I Thought It Was Tuesday. Today was one of those days where you are running in circles and feeling like you aren't accomplishing anything. Then suddenly it comes to a crashing halt! After that for the rest of the I felt lousy with a capital "L"! And that means that I missed my CSA food pickup. insert frustration here I don't shop at the grocery store. The only food we eat is the food that is delivered in our trusty box and whatever I make. I have never missed a pi...This afte...

Friday, November 30, 2012. One More Day Until December. We have arrived at December and I still feel like I am catching up from June! Table (the only one we have) is covered with bits and pieces of my dad's Christmas gift that has to get done and in the mail. My thread painting project of my daughter and my pencil crayons are spread out.and somewhere in there is my Certificate of Achievement for. My to do list for today includes:. Remembering by Jackie: July part three

http://grandma-oh.blogspot.com/2015/07/july-part-three.html

Thursday, July 16, 2015. One of my favorite things about Nova Scotia is how close we are to the ocean. I can't say that I get there as often as I like, but today was WONDERFUL. As I looked out over the gentle waves today I was filled with gratitude for this beauty part of nature. Karen and Olivia invited me to beach with them and wow does miss Olivia love the beach! It was a great time. Also this month I've done some sewing.quilts, pillow cases, and bibdanas. I've enjoyed some card making too.

Here it is.in no special order. 1 burn down the house ( really just do some more purging/cleaning). 2finish sewing projects so I can put away the machine. 7 finish the Christmas tree. Sometim...

Remembering by Jackie: June 2014

http://grandma-oh.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html

Sunday, June 29, 2014. It's yet another rainy day in Saskatchewan.probably creating yet another record of some sort. There is flooding everywhere.inside and out. Church was shortened to just one hour as roads are flooding, and many have wet basements to deal with. It was a good Sacrament meeting none the less.with a good talk about Priesthood, testimony by newly called leaders in YW, and wise words from our BP. Decided it might be a good day to add to my blog. Cute teacher thank you gift cards. Following...
