Stern planes and rudder. Saddle tank vents- take 2. Due to new fotografic material i had to revise the saddle tank vents. Foto of the real thing:. Holes were filled in with Miliput, and green filler. New vents out of styrene sheet:. Its been so long since i posted anything, but the the RL things prevented me from the work on the boat /namely the house move/. Stern internal ribs. Because the shape is bit tricky in the area i opted for flat sheet of styrene for the task. Styrene profiles for bow internal ribs. With hull work near completion the stand needs to be created. I will not be using the kit stand. My choice will be the brass knobs with bolts running thru , and mounted on length of wood. First the holes were drilled. Looking at the pic abowe right , its aparent it will not offer much torque strength. That fits the cavity of the hull well.

Isolators supplied by the kit are completely wrong, and arre moulded together with part of the rigging. The bow, and stern isolators are missing in the kit. This is how it looks like in the kit:. Green Stuff came to the resque. Good thing is the insulators made from this medium are of the right color, and there is no need for paint. For test shot i used 0,125 mm wire, but for the final rigging Dacron will be used. At last i have found some quality time to work on the boat. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Outside of the CT. First impressions of the outside areas. Few things need to be corrected. All the rail holes, and big isolator hole were filled with miliput. Lights are gone, and the recesses were made deeper, and wider. Grilles are back in place. Isolator nest was replaced by 2,5mm copper tube, with 2mm styrene lining. Zum ersten Mal seit langem denke ich darüber nach eine Vignette, bzw. ein Diorama für eines meiner Modelle zu bauen und habe deswegen beschloßen den Puma vorerst für fertig zu erklären. Ich habe mich dazu entschloßen noch eine Plane von Modell Victoria anzubringen. Eine Figur für das Modell ist bestellt, allerdings wird sich die Lieferung noch hinauszögern. Freitag, 27. Februar 2009. Die Ausstellung in Zeiskam rückt näher und langsam bin ich etwas optimistischer daß das Modell doch noch fertig wird. Nach den letzten Schritten habe ich in den letzten Sitzungen mehr Filter aus:. Tamiya XF-52 Flat Earth,. Vallejo German Camo Beige,. Vallejo English Uniform,. Vallejo German Camo Pale Brown. Hinzugefügt. Alle Farben wurden extrem mit Wasser verdünnt und hauchdünn aufgebracht. Anschließend brachte ich im Laufwerksbereich und den Rädern folgende Pigmente auf:.

Modell U-Boot vom Typ VIIC, Baubericht der U-47 von Robbe: U-556
Der Bau eines Modell U-Bootes war schon seit langem mein Wunsch, ich hatte so etwas noch nie gemacht. Der Typ VIIC sollte es werden, geht doch eine gewisse Faszination von diesem U-Boot Typ der Kriegsmarine aus. Doch welchen Bausatz wählen? Nach einigen Überlegungen und mit der Hilfe von Modellbau Foren stand es dann schließlich fest: Es sollte die U-47 von Robbe sein. Mein höchster Respekt gilt allen anderen Modellbauern, die mit unglaublichem Engagement, Hingabe und Finesse wahre Wunderwerke vollbringen.
